3. The main image on the page is Lilly Allen, this
takes up about half the page, this is o show
that the article is about her, and that she is
important as she takes up half the page. She
has black short hair, with make up on, a
chequered red and black top with a necklace
on, she also has her tattoo on display. She is
also leaning slightly forward, with her arms on
her hips, and her head is turned slightly to the
left. Her style is aimed at teenagers as this can
be considered a teenage look. Her stance is
like this as it brings attention to her, as all the
angles are set so you are drawn to her image,
such as the colours of the shirt, which draws
attention as red is a bright colour, her hands
on her hip create more surface area so there
are no gaps and so means more to see, and
her tattoo that is slightly on show is
something else the eye is drawn to, tattoos
can be seen as a sign of rebellion, especially
with adolescences
The font is a sans serif font, which is all in caps and in bold, the
words are in white and on a black background which makes it
stand out on the page. This takes up about a quarter of the
page, which is ironic as the statement suggests she is not “an
attention seeker” however since this takes up a good quarter of
the page, this is going to draw attention and so this contradicts
the statement. This is also placed at the top left hand corner of
the page, and so would be the first thing the reader would see
on the page.
The body text starts with a dropcap of the letter I, the
body text is then in 4 columns, the whole text starts
with a kicker. There are several gutters between the
columns of text , the text is a serif font, which shows it is
important as it seems to be smarter than a sans serif
font.
