2. Fonts
For the title:
These are the three main fonts that I will
choose from, they all have good qualities but
also some have negative aspects. Both the
first and last font are hard to understand from
far away. Therefor I will most likely use the
second font.
For my font I want to use a
font that looks handwritten
but elegant at the same time.
I chose to do my font this way
as my magazine is going to be
directed towards the female
gender and I feel that if I have
a font that can be seen as
feminine it will attract readers
to the magazine.
My chosen font is going to be
Gabrielle, I chose this font
because it keeps the
femininity I wanted but is
clear and is easy to read from
far away.

3. Colour scheme
The colours I want to use for my
cover are shades of pink and grey as
they both are quite feminine when
put together. I want to use a light
shade of pink as it seen as a girly
colour. As my magazine is directed
mainly at the female gender I have
decided to use these two colours
together.
My chosen colours are a dark shade of rose pink, with a light grey
and white. I chose these colours as I think that they go together
but also because they have the femininity I wanted as well as
looking sophisticated which is what I want my magazine to look
like.
I will want my
model to wear
colours that go with
the shades I have
used for my colour
scheme. I think I will
try doing a black
and white image to
see what that looks
like.

4. I like this cover as it is quite simple and
focuses mainly on the cover star Katy Perry. I
also like the font they have used throughout
the page, and the colours they have used are
similar to those that I am thinking of using.
I like that in this cover they have
used the colours to grasp at the
attention of the reader and draw
them in. I also like this cover as
the text stands out and is bold
against the image so that it all
works together to create an
imaginative cover.
This cover uses a lot of the same themes I
want to use for my magazine cover. I love
the playing of light on the cover star Lana
Del Ray. I also like that the colours stand
out against the image without taking over.
I like how in this cover they have used
Taylor Swifts hair as a backdrop, by doing a
close up shot of Taylor. I love the shades of
pink and white they used as they work well
together and look sophisticated.
I like the way that this
cover is presented as
they have created a
powerful cover as they
have kept the cover star
Beyoncé the main focus
but also use bold texts
that stand out.
