WHAT IS NI LABVIEW?
LabVIEW is a graphical programming environment
engineers use to develop automated research,
validation, and production test systems.
What is MYRIO?
The myRIO Student Embedded Device features I/O on both sides of the
device in the form of MXP and MSP connectors.
It includes analog inputs, analog outputs, digital I/O lines, LEDs, a push
button, an onboard accelerometer, a Xilinx FPGA, and a dual‐core ARM
Cortex‐A9 processor.
Some models also include Wi-Fi support. You can program the myRIO
Student Embedded Device with LabVIEW.
With its onboard devices, seamless software experience, and library of
courseware and tutorials, the myRIO Student Embedded Device provides
an affordable tool for students and educators.

As there are many people around the Globe suffering from partial
or total disabilities and it become challenging for them to
perform their daily task like walking so to tackle such problem we
made a wheelchair that could help them to travel to small places
and that to at a cheaper cost.
The prototype of the project is already working.
PROJECT- JOYSTICK CONTROLLED WHEELCHAIR
USING MYRIO

HOW IT WORKS….???
● It makes use of the joystick to control the motion of the
wheelchair. The system consists of a Joystick, Computer,
Control Circuit and Motors
● The joystick sends signal to myRio then it has been
processed by the program developed using LabVIEW
● This program processes the command and corresponding
signals are send to Control Unit that drives wheelchair motor
MERITS
● It allows user to drive their chair using Joystick.
● Reduces dependencies on Caregiver.
● Reduces the efforts of Caregiver.
● Helps the physically challenged to enjoy outdoors activity like
exploring park, watching birds etc.

As there are many people around the Globe suffering from partial or total disabilities and it become challenging for them to perform their daily task like walking so to tackle such problem we made a wheelchair that could help them to travel to small places and that to at a cheaper cost.   • 14. HOW IT WORKS….??? ● It makes use of the joystick to control the motion of the wheelchair. The system consists of a Joystick, Computer, Control Circuit and Motors ● The joystick sends signal to myRio then it has been processed by the program developed using LabVIEW ● This program processes the command and corresponding signals are send to Control Unit that drives wheelchair motor
