our mission
The goals of the iCommute program are to:
• reduce traffic congestion during peak‐time
• help commuters understand the commute
choices they have
• reduce greenhouse gas emissions and
other environmental pollutants that result
from commuters driving to work each day

• $700 Million allocated for TDM through 2050:
• Increase participation in the Regional Vanpool Program
by 70% by 2020
• Increase carpooling by 70% by 2020
• 10% daily commute trip reduction due to teleworking
TDM in San Diego’s 2050 RTP

• Proactive vs. reactive

Diamond Award levels automatically increase as
they enhance their program
• Also accounts for employee participation to
