Part 1
How did you attract and appeal to
your target audience?
Initial Ideas
To start my planning I used my
initial ideas to start the process, I
considered all of my previous
knowledge of Thrillers in which I
have seen and thought about in
relation to mine. The initial idea
helps the start of my planning as it
brings together my first ideas in
which I developed later on with
more research.
Research and Planning
After coming up with initial ideas I conducted primary and
secondary research in which I found out a range of points
in which will benefit my film. I watched a range of different
thriller opening sequences and found comparisons and
differences. I asked a group of people a range of questions
to find out their opinions on what their expectations on what
thrillers present. Also I researched results for thriller
audiences and their viewing figures which give me a more
fact based understanding of target audiences.
Benefits
The benefits of these research results is it allows
me to produce a product in which will be
successful as they have given me information that
can be specifically applied to appeal to the set
audience. Once it appeals it will be a success and
deliver its conventions and repetoire.
