Every manufacturing unit, has to
perform certain basic functions such as
Production, Marketing, Finance and
Personnel.
Each of these are grouped into
separate departments such as
Production department, Marketing
Department, Finance Department and
Personnel Department. This is known
as Departmentation by Functions.
