Pranciskus Zadeikis gymnasium is a secondary school located in Skuodas, Lithuania that was established in 1918. It was originally called Skuodas gymnasium but had several name changes over time before being named after Pranciskus Zadeikis in 1992. The school is located in the center of Skuodas and surrounded by a park and sports facilities. It has over 500 students and 51 teachers, and offers a range of extracurricular activities for students beyond their academic studies.

6. Pranciskus Zadeikis
Pranciskus Zadeikis (1869 –
1933) – Lithuania’s priest,
honorary Canon, writer,
translator. He wrote few
religious books and a book
about war. He translated
Homer’s “Iliada”from the
Greek language. Thanks to
him in 1918 before the end
of First World War in
Skuodas was established a
gymnasium.
7. Environment
School is in the centre of the
Skuodas town and is surrounded
by beautiful places. Near
school’s stadium there is a park,
which is managed and
maintained by students and
teachers.
Near the park there is a sports
ground, called “a skatepark”,
where students can play football
& basketball and skate their
skateboards or roller-skates.
Not far away from the “skatepark”
stands a beautiful fountain.

10. Gymnasium consists of four years of schooling.
In school work 51 teacher.
In total gymnasium has 17 classes, which
comprise of about 500 students.
There are a lot of activities to do for students
after lessons. Students can join gymnasium’s
theatre, choir, ensemble, art & dance studio,
football & basketball section and much more...
