From researching album covers and music videos with similar styles, the document summarizes that warm tones and pastel colours were commonly used to create a nostalgic feel. 4. What I have found out from my research
From looking at similar styles of music and similar styles of photography used to my
music video, I was able to see what kind of colour schemes and styles were used.
From my research I found that a lot of the colours used were warm tones which
featured a lot pastel colours but also warm, autumnal colours too.
I believe these colours were poplar because of the filters and nostalgic feel created.
For instance the polaroid photograph featured on wolf Alice's album, and the filters
used on Lana del ray and Mumford and sons.
For my own album I wish to look further into the use of photography, using the
filters that I used in my music video, or looking into take polaroid photographs. This
would link well to my music video because of the similarity in the retro, nostalgic
feel and style of the video.
