Issues with iPad class sets
• not suitable for a shared environment –
- issues – with saving and sharing work
• Recommendations
– cloud storage (dropbox/google doc/sugar sync).
- email finished work to student,
• Incomplete work – can be a problem if the app is going to be wiped
clean and the project unfinished
• Wireless access –
- Recommendation – booster or 3g as backup
• Off campus – may need 3g of app requires internet
• Security of teacher/student (multiple users) account

Ambition in Action www.sit.nsw.edu.au Mobile learning - characteristic /supporting the mobility of the learner (anywhere, anytime) with contemporary mobile devices /On-demand learning /With the expectation to continue on other devices (cloud e.g. Dropbox) /Tablets, and particularly the iPad, has accelerated the growth and demand for mobile learning /Ubiquitous wireless (Philip, Uys, 2012 CSU) By 2015 80% of ppl will access the Internet from a mobile device (Horizon Report 2011, 2012)
