    • Opening comments were made by Mary Colf, IU9 Executive Director
    • Institute participants were welcomed by Jenny Lent, IU9 Director of Curriculum, Technology and Resources
    • Area educators packed the Smethport High School auditorium for the opening ceremony.
    • IU9 Directors and staff were in attendance.

    • Dr. Regina Palubinsky, Special Assistant to the Pennsylvania Secretary of Education was the guest speaker at the opening ceremony
    • We were also fortunate to have Secretary of Education  Gerald L. Zahorchak, D.Ed.
