The CCafs Mitigation Options Tool, developed in partnership between the CGIAR program on climate change, agriculture, and food security and the University of Aberdeen, estimates greenhouse gas emissions from various agricultural management systems worldwide. This Excel-based tool allows decision-makers to evaluate mitigation options without compromising crop production and is designed for quick use, requiring only 5-10 minutes to fill out. Future work aims to enhance knowledge of GHG emissions, address socio-economic barriers, and improve usability for relevant stakeholders.
