The caroling group needs to raise 1500 pesos for their band's upcoming concert. They decide to go Christmas caroling the next day, starting at Emma's house which is near a famous huge mansion. Emma needs to get home by 5pm to take care of her grandmother. They take a group photo before packing up to end their practice and head home for the day.
The Carolers aim to raise 1500 pesos for a Christmas party. They gather donations but face challenges.
The Carolers meet Doña Amalia, who offers refreshments, creating a spooky atmosphere around Villa Euforia.
Lucia shares chilling stories about Villa Euforia, a place linked to mysterious disappearances and a creepy history.
Emma comforts her grandmother, addressing fears about Villa Euforia, while also preparing for the caroling. The group practices caroling, sets a goal, and discusses strategies while bonding over music and friendship.
Emma hesitates to enter the mansion but ultimately joins her friends as they carol at the mysterious location.
[PROLOGUE]
Carolers: I wannawish you a merry Christmas (3x)... From the bottom of my heart!!! Merry
Christmas and a happy new year!
Household: Merry Christmas as well! Great singers like you deserve monetary compensation.
Harry: Thank you, Mrs. Goodman! Expect we'll be back here next Christmas!
(All carolers laugh)
Carolers: Thank you! Thank you! Thank You everybody thank you!
(Carolers walking) SFX: Sound of Crickets at night
Harry: Nika, can you give us the latest update of our Christmas fund?
Nika: Wait. So far we already have 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 550, 587 pesos and 18
cents.
(All carolers disappointed)
Caroler 2: We're not even halfway to our 1500-peso-goal for the Christmas party we’re
planning.
Harry: Hey, wait. Look! Do you see what I'm seeing?
Caroler 2: Are you serious?
Harry: Of course, occupants of huge mansions like this are VERY generous? Isn't it
Stephanie?
Stephanie: I've got goose bumps though I'm still seeing it from afar. Wooh! Even the wind
conspires with its scary appearance. It chills!
Harry: Hello! There's nothing scary when you know we need to have 1500 pesos! This is
money, baby! Common!
<Screeching gate opens>
Harry: Here we go! 1, 2, 3, go!
Carolers: Feliz navidad! Feliz navidad! Feliz navidad. prospero…
<Voices slow down as the double door opens>
Doña Amalia:
(Claps) Teenagers who sound so good! Very rare today! I'd be glad to have you
as my guest. By the way, I’m Dona Amalia. Come inside and have some... Ahh
refreshments.
Harry: That would be nice! BUT…
Doña Amalia:
Ahh ahh. No BUT'S this Christmas honey. It wouldn't be nice to DECLINE an
invitation!
2.
Caroler 3: Messyhair. Sly smile. Unwashed dress. And obese stature! Huh! Every little detail
in her look screams “YOU’RE LAST BREATH IS MINE!” Eyyy
Harry: Just like I said. Come on guys.
Caroler 2: Harry, are you serious? Dona Amalia looks like she wants to eat us.
Dona Amalia: Come. Come. You don’t want to be frozen statues outside, do you?
<Door shuts>
Carolers: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Doña Amalia: Welcome to Villa Euforia! <Evil laugh>
<Rain, Thunder, and Lightning>

<Mystery sfx>
<Play Paramore's “Caught Myself” minus 1>
Emma: I'm sorry guys, but our guitar needs new strings. It broke on the song's last part.
Rosalie: Gosh, Graham Larkin’s concert is this December 23. That's two days from now
and we're supposed to be the front act Emma. How can we fix that effin' guitar?
Emma: Depreciation! That's normal for all guitars to get old after using it for 2 years
Rosalie!
Lucia: Guys, this is not the time to argue. We need to find a way to raise a fund for
Emma's guitar. Graham Larkin's concert might be our only ticket for our band's
STARDOM!
Kelly: It's now or never! <Light bulb> Wait! I have an idea. Emma what month are we
now?
Rosalie: Kelly, this is not the perfect timing for rhetorical questions!
Lucia: Tone down Rosalie.
Emma: It's December, Kelly (Exhausted)
Kelly: That's right December! Merry Christmas! The season of giving!
Lucia: Great idea! Why don't we do…?
All except Rosalie: Christmas Caroling! Bright idea indeed!
Lucia: Okay, so we'll invade first Emma's place. We still have two days before the big
night!
Rosalie: Okay! Okay! We'll have it tomorrow. But can we go home and take a rest.
Emma: Of course, Rosalie! We're ashamed you're beauty rest might be disrupted.
3.
Lucia: Stop itguys, let's just pack up and remove our butts off this studio. Okay! We're a
team. We're a band. We need to be united. Who are we?
All: Vanity 4!
Kelly: I'll go ahead guys. Stay safe okay!
Emma: Of course! Bye Kelly!
Lucia: Emma, I'll go home with you.
Emma: What if I don't?
Lucia: Is that how you treat your best friend?
Emma: Not until you slap Rosalie. No, hahah I was just kidding. Let's go!
<Music>
<Enter walk in the dark music>
Emma: If our rock band will be famous, first thing I would buy is definitely a car.
Lucia: I know right! This street really shakes the spookiness in me. Right now, I would
give everything just for a quick ride home.
Emma: Lucia, we've been walking through this street for years even during midnight. How
come you're still not used to it?
Lucia: Emma, do you know that in this street lies the infamous Villa Euforia?
Emma: That's just a myth! You shouldn’t waste your time hearing that. It'll just scare you
for heaven's sake, Lucia!
<Putting headphones on>
Lucia: No, Emma. They say this place is involved in carnage for many years. <History-
like sfx> It was once inhabited by the Poppins. A family whom the neighbors never
saw coming out of their house. During the day, the mansion looked deserted. And
it is still a mystery why no lights illuminate the mansion even at night. The
neighborhood assumed that the Poppins already migrated, however, one day,
they showed up at the mansion acting very strange. They looked as if they never
took a bath for days. Their clothes unchanged and faces looked deprived from
sleeping. The neighborhood decided not to meddle with the family's business.
Nothing was then heard about the Poppins and their mansion. It was as if the
mansion was forgotten, and the Poppins never existed <bang>. Until news broke
over the village. A group of teenager went missing upon bumping into the
mansion’s parameters, and only one survivor had come out alive. It continues to
4.
happen for years,however, the mystery isn't unveiled yet. Only one survivor is
always left, so if the survivor doesn't die, insanity will eventually take place. The
very reason why the mansion remains an enigma.
<Music returns to night>
Lucia: Emma? Emma? Don't dare play games like this Emma? Where are you?
Emma: <Thrilling music> aaahhhhh!!!
Lucia: Emma?
Emma: I'm sorry a frog just tripped me.
Lucia: What are these? Headphones? Seriously? I was having this chronicle of Villa
Euforia thing and you just listened to music. How insensitive!
Emma: Lucia, I don't believe in stories like that. Vampires, warlocks, witches. They don't
exist! They're just fictitious creatures created so children would go to sleep.
Lucia: They ARE true! Emma, someday, you’ll prove yourself wrong. Experience is the
best proof remember. You'll believe me Emma. I'm sure you'll do. <Evil laugh with
thunder> I was just kidding.
Emma: HAHAHA Very funny Lucia.
<Transition>
Emma: I’m home.
<Tuning but still can't find channel.>
Lola: <Rocking chair> <Scary melody>
The itsy bitsy spider
Went up the water spout.
Down came the rain
And washed the spider out.
Out came the sun
And dried up all the rain
And the itsy bitsy spider
Went up the spout again. (Repeat).
Emma: Lola, it's already late. It's bed time.
Lola: Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Late, time. No! Emma they’re coming. We shouldn't have
entered this place.
Emma: Ya , Lola. This place is abandoned. We must go to bed now so we could escape.
5.
Lola: No. Emma.Escape? We can’t. Lola is scared.
Emma: Don't worry Lola. I'll never leave you alone here.
Lola: <stammers> but... But... Vi-villa Eu-euforia.
Emma: <saying to herself> I can't believe this. Lucia might have told Granny her spooky,
untrue stories. Ssshhhh. Let's just close our eyes. Alright? <Hums>
<transition>
<Emma's telephone rings>
Emma: Aligre's residence. May I know who's on the line please?
Lucia: <child laughs played by phone>
Emma: Sorry. You dialed the wrong number. I'll hung up.
Lucia: Wait. Emma! This is Lucia.
Emma: Very funny Lucia. You know what? You're really fund of horror movies. Horror
stories. Horror. Horror. Horror. Even you face is becoming horror.
Lucia: I'm just joking Emma. You're too serious. Anyway. Kelly says we'll have practice
for the caroling tomorrow 10 am at Rosalie's.
Emma: Ok. Whose telephone are you using now?
Lucia: Payphone.
Emma: Wow. So you walked all the way just to call me. Sweet. Bye.
Lucia: Wait. Emma. I'm with Simon. So I used their telephone.
Emma: What?
Lucia: When we went home, Simon surprised me. But then, Simon was actually waiting
at the boarding house to fetch me. How sweet! I had a dinner with his family and
decided to use their telephone to tell you about the practice. Happy?
Emma: Okay. And one more thing. Are you the reason why Granny keeps saying "Villa
Euforia" before she sleeps?
Lucia: Of course... Not! I just heard the story recently. Your Granny has been mentioning
that Villa Euforia thing years ago.
Emma: hmmmm.
<Simon calls from afar>
Lucia: Coming! Emma, don't forget. Practice at Rosalie's. 10am. Bye!
Emma: <Line hung up before even answering back> Bye..
<Transition>
6.
All: Feliz navidad!Feliz navidad! Feliz navidad prospero anyoy felicidad. We wanna
wish you a merry christmas (3x) from the bottom of my heart...
Kelly: Arggghh! I feel so exhausted.
Rosalie: We've been practicing the same song for hundreds of time. Can we... Like take a
break? Because I’m like so haggard you know.
Lucia: Ya, right. While we're having a break, we will discuss our target goal for the week.
So we need to raise 1500 pesos for the guitar. The concert will be two days from
now so we only have a day to do the caroling so we could still rest a day before
the concert.
Emma: So where should we start first?
Lucia: The band has agreed that we will start at Emma's place since it's the area where
there are numerous inhabitants.
Kelly: Not to mention there's a famous huge mansion at your place. People living there
are never cheapskate.
Emma: Guys, I should be back at home by 5pm. I need to attend to my
Granny. You know I can't leave her to my younger siblings.
Rosalie: Time check, it's 4:50 pm. So we'd better pack things up and head straight home.
Kelly: Let's rest our voices so we could sing our hearts out for the caroling tomorrow.
Remember, this for the success of the VANITY 4!
Lucia: Okay, okay before we turn out to be party animals, Let's just do the vanity 6
tradition. The super 10 shot groupfie! Formal. Wacky. Planking. Peace sign. Duck
face. Tongue out. Look up. Shocked. Winning smile. And the Poker face! <laughs
altogether>.
Rosalie: Okay! It's already 5.
Lucia: Here comes the Kill joy.. <In a singsong voice>
Rosalie: Emma must be home by 5 remember?
Kelly: Uyyy.. Why don’t you admit Rosalie, that you are still a CARING Rosalie?
Rosalie: Kelly, why don't you come here and I’ll show you HOW TO KILL A MOCKING
FRIEND.
Kelly: Relax, Rosalie. Your Botox might be stretched.
Rosalie: Shut up Kelly, you know this human being is an epitome of natural beauty.
<Everyone laughs>
Emma: Okay guys, I really have to go.
Lucia: Emma, I'm coming with you. Bye girls!
7.
<Transition>
<At home>
Sister: Theitsy bitsy spider climbs up the water spout. Oh! Hey Emma?
Emma: Where's Lola Emilia?
Sister: She's sitting in her rocking chair their at the veranda.
Lola: No. Villa Euforia is a dangerous place. Nobody gets out the place alive. Never
dare to step into the gate. Never be lured by the welcoming door.
Emma: Granny?
Lola: No! No! Vi-vi-villa Eu-eu-fo-..
Emma: It's alright Lola Emilia, we just need a rest.
Lola: Hear me, Emma. <Crying> vi-villa...
