Europe
Black Eagle
The Black Eagle is about 70–80 cm in
length. It is a bird of prey. It eats mammals, birds and eggs. The Black Eagle lives
in tropical Asia.

Lions are most found in Africa. Some
males exceed 250 kg. They live for 10-14
years in the wild and more than 20 in captivity. Male lions have a big mane.

Mute Swan
The Mute Swan is one of the heaviest flying birds from 9 to12 kg, ranges from 140 to
160 cm long. It is protected but this has not
prevented illegal hunting and poaching.

The Gallic rooster, colloquially named Chanteclair,
had been a national emblem ever since, especially during the Third French Republic. Today, it is often used
as a national mascot. The France national rugby
league team are known as the Chanteclairs referring
to the cockerel's song.

Golden Eagle
The Golden Eagle is one of the best-known birds of
prey in the Northern Hemisphere. They are considered
the most superlative fliers among eagles and perhaps
among all raptorial birds. They have seven main hunting techniques with different individual variations.
Greece
Dolphin
Dolphins are marine mammals closely related to
whales and porpoises. They vary in size from 1.2 m
and 40 kg up to 9.5 m and 10 tons. They have acute
eyesight, both in and out of the water, and they can
hear frequencies ten times or more above the upper
limit of adult human hearing. Dolphins are regarded as
one of Earth's most intelligent animals.

Turul
The Turul is the most important bird in the origin
myth of the Magyars. It is a divine messenger and became the symbol of power, strength and nobility. The
Turul represents the god's power and will. The Turul
was seen as the ancestor of Attila, and it was also the
symbol of the Huns.

Europe
Italian Wolf
The Italian Wolf is also known as the Apennine Wolf.
It is a medium wolf with an average weight of 24 - 40
kilograms for a male, females are usually 10% lighter.
The Italian Wolf is a nocturnal hunter which feeds primarily on medium sized animals.
Spain
Bull
A common misconception widely repeated in depictions
of bull behavior is that the color red angers bulls, inciting them to charge. In fact, like most mammals, cattle
are red-green color blind. In bullfighting, it is the
movement of the matador's cape, and not the color,
which provokes a reaction in the bull.
United Kingdom
Bulldog
The English Bulldog is popularly used to represent
England or the United Kingdom. It has been associated
with Winston Churchill’s defiance of Nazi Germany.
Bulldogs are known for getting along well with children, other dogs, and pets They can be attached to
home a lot.

The Jaguar is a near threatened species and its numbers are declining. Threats include loss and fragmentation of habitat. While international trade in jaguars
or their parts is prohibited, the cat is still frequently
killed by humans, particularly in conflicts with ranchers and farmers in South America.

Macaw
The majority of macaws are now endangered in the
wild and a few are extinct. The greatest problems
threatening the macaw population are the rapid rate of
deforestation and the illegal trapping for the bird
trade.
Canada
Beaver
The beaver works as a keystone species in an ecosystem by creating wetlands that are used by many other
species. Next to humans, no other extant animal appears to do more to shape its landscape. Beavers potentially even impact climate change.
USA
Bald Eagle
Bald Eagles are not actually bald; the name derives
from an older meaning of "white headed". The adult is
mainly brown with a white head and tail. The sexes are
identical in plumage, but females are larger than
males. The beak is large and hooked. The plumage of
the immature is brown.

Indian Peacocks are best known for the male's extravagant display feathers which, despite actually
growing from their back, are thought of as a tail. The
ornate train is believed to be the result of female sexual selection as males raise the feathers into a fan and
quiver them as part of courtship display.

Tanuki
Among the most recognizable images in Japanese folk
art is a rotund, jolly little bear-like animal, wearing a
large straw hat and carrying a bottle of sake. This is
the famous and beloved tanuki, sometimes called the
"raccoon" of Japan.
