Plant Engineer / Reactor Cooling Pumps & Refueling Outage Project Manager - Indian Point
Nuclear Facility
 Implemented and managed the Determination of Equivalency Engineering Process. This
process ensured that comprehensive technical engineering evaluations of proposed
equipment/component replacements were performed and all changes complied with the
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and plant design basis.
 Prepared design packages in accordance with nuclear industry standards. These standards
include drawings, specifications, installation instructions, test procedures and one-line
diagrams for numerous plant modifications projects.
 Managed a $4 million overhaul project. Coordinated vendor and supervised in-house and
Westinghouse personnel to complete disassembly, inspection, repairs and assembly of four
90,000 GPM Reactor Coolant Pumps (RCP), including the 7,000 HP/6600 Volts Motors.
All work completed on time and within budget.
 Reviewed and coordinated the work of contractor’s and other engineering groups and
provided ad hoc engineering support to contractors and plant maintenance during the Plant
Engineering and Refueling Outage positions.
 Led the Nuclear Operations effort, as part of a cross-functional corporate team, to design
and implement a $5 million Oracle data base program to monitor company wide
environmental performance.
 Developed and revised numerous plant operating and maintenance procedures to ensure
compliance with plant design basis documents.

 Rotated through various supervisory and engineering positions and supervised Union
employees throughout various Con Ed field departments. Positions held include Operating
Supervisor East River Generating Station, Maintenance Supervisor Power Generation
