Storyboard for five minute productionSB1: This is the opening shot for the film, where Zoe walks through the door towards her classroom. This is a medium still shot facing towards Zoe to capture her walking through the double doors.SB2: This is a bird’s eye view shot (still) of Zoe just after she has walked through the double doorsand is almost at the door towards her classroom. We used the stairs above the classroom to film thisangle shot.
SB3: This is an over the shoulder shot which is aimed over Zoe’s shoulder as she opens the door andenters. The reason behind this camera angle is to capture Zoe’s friends as they look towards herwhen she enters and greet her as she walks in to the room.SB4: This is a still long shot of Zoe sitting down with her friends Dan and Alex (take note that otherpeople who are in the class will be in the shot when we actually do shoot the production). Thereason for the long shot is to capture everyone who is in the shot because at the time they are all inconversation, and the audience will need to see who is speaking to whom.
SB5: This is a panning medium shot (two person shot) that captures James as he walks through thedoor into the lesson. SB9: This shot is a medium shot of the teacher after she has just sat down at her desk. It will captureher telling the class to settle down and open their text books. (Take note that the height of the shotwill be taken from the same height as the desk, almost like a ground shot, and the camera will facingtowards the teacher head on). The screen will then black out to give the audience the impression thelesson has started.SB10: The screen is now becoming footage again from a black screen (this will give the impression tothe audience that the lesson has just ended). Some of the students will be looking towards the whiteboardwhich in turn will make Zoe turn her head towards the white board.
SB25: This is a still close up shot of Zoe’s face where she has a shocked face on from what she hasseen on the board.SB26: This is a close up shot of the white board (that will have horrid words and images drawn on itthat relate to Zoe being pregnant). This will give the audience the impression that this is what Zoewas shocked to see.
