COMMISSIONING & PRECOMMISSIONG EXPERIENCE
• Having experience in commissioning and pre-commissioning activities like, Leak and Pressure Test
Perform Witness, Equipment Inspection, Flushing, Chemical, Mechanical Cleaning Perform Witness,
Temporary Screens, Strainers and Blinds Perform Witness, Purging and Inserting Perform Witness,
Drying out Perform Witness, Instrumentation Verification Perform Witness.
• Inspection of equipments and process flow lines meet as per the design before boxing up.
• Inspection of trays and its arrangements, following the system cleaning, pressure test and
commissioned the system.
• Experienced and knowledge in pressure testing (Hydro and Pneumatic) of lines and vessels
• Overseeing all areas of the plant and commissioning new equipment, regularly attend the meeting
regarding the Safety, Environmental and Production targets in all fields as well as trouble shooting.
Sampling and placing of work orders.
• Gas testing, chemical handling, confined space entry and atmospheric monitoring.
• Responsible for the successful commissioning of the three phases and two phase separator, Crude Oil
storage tanks, Boilers.
• Commissioning and operation of actuators, regulators, positioners, control systems, pipes, filters,
relief valves, temperature and PH control, dual stage pressure drop designs, instrument air to gas
conversion skids.
• Changing or Adjusting of choke to regulate flow and to give back pressure to reservoir.
• Observe the annulus pressure build up & Annulus pressure bleeding operations.
• Well activation and Optimization of gas injection wells and well head panel board operation.
• Well equalization in case of SCSSV unable to open because of high shut in pressure and operation of
SSV.
• Pig launching and Pig receiving activities.
• Testing and maintaining the unmanned well head platforms.
• Shut down and normalizing the wells through Pneumatic Control Panel board namely Baker and
Autocone.
• SCSSSV, SSV & Safomatic safety valve operation and Storm choke operation.
• Methanol injection in wells flow lines to prevent Hydrates formation.
• Hand over the wells to Rig and giving ESD connection.
• Making wells ready for Acidisation, Reservoir and Wire line jobs.
STARTUP ACTIVITIES:
• Review of the plant P & ID, PFD equipment data sheet.
• Going through plant specific operation manual standard operating procedure (SOP).
• Checking the construction of piping equipment according to the process flow diagram,
instrumentation diagram clearance & mechanical clearance.
• Preparation of hydro test package, water flushing, air blowing, and nitrogen purging.
• Checking of vessel, column internal inspection.
• Column valve tray plates erecting level, water height down comer clearance, valve free moment &
toper fighting of tray decks.
• Checking FG system, deluge fire water system.
• Making of punch point list rectification of the point in co-ordination with maintenance.
• Inspection equipment in association with inspection personal caring out flushing, blowing, drying,
nitrogen purging steam blowing & chemical cleaning of various pipelines.
• Caring out trails runs of all the rotary equipment.
• Inspecting all the utility and their safe commissioning.
• Caring out leak test with liquid nitrogen of various sections.
• Checking trip setting with DCS.
• Lining up the plant for safe start up.
• Commissioning of fire water system, flare system, under ground drains systems, HP/LP fuel gas
system, chemical loading procedure.
SULFUR RECOVERY UNIT
• *Very good knowledge of acid gas K.O.D Pressure maintenance, Sour water Pump operations, Main
blowers (0.8 barg) operations, Fuel gas pressure maintenance, high pressure steam (STH), Low
pressure steam (STL), maintain temp of Reheaters and preheaters, Operations of burner, furnace and
waste heat boiler.Operations of Reactors, especially Super Claus reactor. Operations of condensers,
especially Super Claus Condenser Operations and start up permissive for incinerator burner, LP
condensate and HP condensate handling procedures. Level maintenance of sulfur storage vessel,
Sulfur cooler and degassing system operations, Steam jacketed temp and pressure maintenance. Blow
down system and Blow down pump operations. Maintain boiler feed water level, STL production
(156 Deg C & 5 bar), demister pad usage, Blow down routine check up, Maintain BFW temperature,
Aluminum catalyst, Titanium catalyst, Support balls usage, Degassing( To reduce H2s 300ppm to 10
ppm)
Well Head Operation
 Inspection and operation of Christmas tree and flow line check up for leaks.
 Changing or Adjusting of choke to regulate flow and to give back pressure to reservoir.
 Observe the annulus pressure build up & Annulus pressure bleeding operations.

Well Testing:
 M P F M (multi phase flow meter)(now we are using)
 Production & Test manifold operations – Setting Pressure, Interface level and Level of Test separator.
 Operation involved in changing orifice plate (Daniel junior, senior orifice meter & flange orifice) and
handled chart recorders (Pressure, Temperature & Differential Pressure) namely FoxPro, ITT Burton.
 Operation involved in changing orifice plate (Daniel junior, senior orifice meter & flange orifice) and
handled chart recorders (Pressure, Temperature & Differential Pressure) namely FoxPro, ITT Burton.
 Test separator Pneumatic panel board operations. Find out the Gas Oil ratio and Gas Liquid ratio.
 Calculation of Gas flow through orifice meter as per AGA table.
 Well Actuation & Optimization Actuate the ceased wells due to water loading.
 Setting Gas lift pressure of individual wells to get maximum production.
PUMP OPERATION:
Centrifugal & Reciprocating pump open: lion. Start up & shut down operation. Lube pumps operation, oil
level maintenance, vibration check. Maintenance seal check, Cavitations, Suction & Discharge pressure
checkup, Strainer operation coupling. Shaft vibration & Heat checkup, speed setting chemical dose pump
operation, submersible pump operation, trouble shooting, etc
GAS DEHYDRATION UNIT:
Very good working and troubleshooting knowledge with Gas Dehydration Startup & shutdown, Glycol
Pump Operation – TEG inlet scrubber level maintenance-TEG conductor handling –TEG circulation rate
– TEG regeneration system operation – TIC operation –Thyrister panel operation – Flash Drum operation
– Sock filters, Charcoal filter change over operation and normalize – Reflux condenser temperature
control- Rebolier temperature control – Dew point, PH value, Foam maintenance, Stripping gas etc.
GLYCOL REGENERATION
Natural gas is dehydrated to avoid corrosion or pipeline plugging due to ice or hydrate formation. The
traditional way to dehydrate natural gas is by absorption in triethylene glycol (TEG). Normally, the
water is removed from the (rich) glycol by distillation, and then the regenerated glycol is recycled
back to the absorption column. After absorption, soluble gases like CO2 are first released from the
glycol in a flash tank, and then the glycol is heated before it flows to a distillation (regeneration)
column. The regeneration column has a reboiler and a condenser. Regeneration of the glycol by
atmospheric distillation at about 200 C achieves about 1weight% water in regenerated glycol. The
regenerated glycol is pumped back to the absorption column and heat exchanged against the rich
glycol and cooling water
CENTRAL PRODUCTION FACILITY AND TANK FARM:
Receiving Crude from different Gathering Station, Gas Boot and Free Water Knockout tank, Dehydration
tank, desalination Tank, produced water tank, skimmer tank, and storage tank operations, emulsion
treatment by electrostatic heater treater, emulsifier’s injection pumps, and injection rate
calculations.Desalting crude through electric desalters, crude transfer pumps, LACT (Lest Automotive
Custody Transfer) – unit water injection pumps. LACT Meter proving, shipping Pumps, Trouble
Shooting as per cause and effect Logics, Operation of Gas Turbines for Generator, Compressors. Pump
sand Fire Water Pumps PIG launching and Receiving, Preparation of production reports, well-test data
entry.SCADA operations. Well aware of plant safety equipments, Emergency procedures, etc. Conversant
in Handling Crude Stabilization unit, Vacuum Separator, Vacuum Compressors.Also successfully
operated Central Production Facility Capacity of 1, 50, 000 bbls/day.
CONTROL SYSTEM:
Handling of all types of control system Pneumatic controls, SCADA systems, distribute control system
(DCS). All control valves like LCV, ILCV, FCV,TCV
And motor operated valves (MOV), remote operated valves (ROV) and gas detectors. All solenoid valve
operations and pilot operated safety valve, field’s local systems. All transmitter like level transmitter,
pressure transmitter, flow transmitter, temperature transmitter and turbo meter.
Isolation Recycle Discharge valve leaking .Engine cylinder function. Cylinder fire order Fuel gas
splurging, Cooled water supply, SDV & BDV operation, Trouble shooting, etc.

The traditional way to dehydrate natural gas is by absorption in triethylene glycol (TEG). Normally, the water is removed from the (rich) glycol by distillation, and then the regenerated glycol is recycled back to the absorption column. After absorption, soluble gases like CO2 are first released from the glycol in a flash tank, and then the glycol is heated before it flows to a distillation (regeneration) column. The regeneration column has a reboiler and a condenser. Regeneration of the glycol by atmospheric distillation at about 200 C achieves about 1weight% water in regenerated glycol.
