2. Consequences
• After the Revolutionary War democratic politics became
possible.
• From this the widespread assertion of individual rights,
liberty, and equality became core values of republicanism.
• The American Revolution gave worldwide hope which led to
other revolutions such as the French Revolution, the Haitian
Revolution and the Latin American wars of Independence.
3. • The main negative consequence from the American
Revolution though was the National debt that fell into three
categories.
• The US owed France 11 million dollars
• The US owed their own people 24 million dollars for selling
things to the revolutionary forces
• The rest that was owed was to the individual states
• The total came out to 80 million dollars of debt which back
then was considered a great sum
