Introduction
Sensors respond to an input stimulus (some
detectable change in their environment) and
convert it into an electrical signal that can be
channeled, amplified, and modified by other
devices to activate a response.
Activity1:
EvadingMotion
Detection
Objective :
Movewithin the range of this sensor andevade detection .
Observe how amotion detector operates .
Procedure :
Moveabout in front ofthe detector, observe its sensitivity.
Drawa boxtorepresent the room, then sketch the limits ofthe detector’s sensitivity.
Trytoevasion the detector until one is successful
Results :
oThat the range of theMotion Detector Sensor has a triangle shape.
oThere are many materials that isolate the motion (infrared), for example:
Conclusion : we knew how a motion detector operates .
Motion Detector Sensor
14.25 feet - 115 inches
That there is many ways even
don’t be detected by the sensor
like : to walk slowly as you can .
Activity2:Taking

Objective :
Explore theoperation of othersensors andsensor system .
Procedure :
Know theinput(the stimulus), theprocesser (converted), andtheoutput (the
response) of some sensors .
Draw atablewitha spaceto record thename, input, processer, and output.

Activity4:
ExploringthePiezo
Effects
Piezoelectricity is derived from the Greek word piezein,
meaning to press .
Electronegativity is the ability of an atom to attract the
shared electrons in chemical bonds .
Objective :
Slowthe vibrationtoa single bending .
Learnhow piezoelectricfilm is constructedsothatitcan respondtosuch a
stimulus.
Procedure :
Comparethemodel of thePVDF monomertothe modelsfor“H²O” and
“C²H4”.
Results :

Procedure :
Connectthe device tocomputer.
Dropacoin onit .
Results :
Conclusion:The pressure generates electricity .
DesignProject:

Objective :
Comeupwith aprototypeofthe coin-sensing,sorting,andcounting

Procedure :
Have a3 differentcoins ,then measurethe masses.
Dropeachofthem andwritethe results.
Drawa chart

Crowding and the
future
Our final project :
A light that the intensity of
depends on the number of people
are in the place .
Crowding and the
future
Introduction:
“Qatar World Cup 2022 is not simply a concept for a
tournament that will be held in the distant future. It
evidence that we are working every single day to
unique tournament that will bring people in the Middle
together and build bridges between East and West .”
basis of this vision, we started thinking and working to
contribute to the achievement .
Aim of the work (objectives):
Helping Qatar to be more organized, and saving more
energy .
Crowding and the
future
Hypothesis:
Our hypothesis that the project will work as
an organizer, instructor, and saver at the
same time .
Crowding and the
future
Methods and
Materials:
We need :
-Infrared detector
sensor.
-Infrared sensor.
-Light bulb.
-Electrical circuit.
Crowding and the
future
Results:
It will help Qatar to be more
organized.
Instruction is every where
It will save money and energy .
Crowding and the
future
Recommendations:
oYou can add some sounds or words to instruct the
people for the good way .
oYou use advanced sensor than we used .
Conclusion :
Scientists and engineers devote their
entire lives to studying and developing
new and better materials for a variety
of purposes .
We learned many things like how to
construct and operate smart sensors
with PVDF .
Acknowledgment
Many thanks to my teachers, school and AL-Bairaq team from Center for Advanced Materials
(CAM), Qatar University for supporting us during our journey with a AL-Bairaq.
Also, I would like to thank the sponsors UNESCO, Qatar National Commission, Ras Gas, Maersk
and Shell.

  • 13. Crowding and the future Our final project : A light that the intensity of depends on the number of people are in the place .
  • 14. Crowding and the future Introduction: “Qatar World Cup 2022 is not simply a concept for a tournament that will be held in the distant future. It evidence that we are working every single day to unique tournament that will bring people in the Middle together and build bridges between East and West .” basis of this vision, we started thinking and working to contribute to the achievement . Aim of the work (objectives): Helping Qatar to be more organized, and saving more energy .
  • 15. Crowding and the future Hypothesis: Our hypothesis that the project will work as an organizer, instructor, and saver at the same time .
  • 16. Crowding and the future Methods and Materials: We need : -Infrared detector sensor. -Infrared sensor. -Light bulb. -Electrical circuit.
  • 17. Crowding and the future Results: It will help Qatar to be more organized. Instruction is every where It will save money and energy .
  • 18. Crowding and the future Recommendations: oYou can add some sounds or words to instruct the people for the good way . oYou use advanced sensor than we used .
  • 19. Conclusion : Scientists and engineers devote their entire lives to studying and developing new and better materials for a variety of purposes . We learned many things like how to construct and operate smart sensors with PVDF .
