Really? I didn’t know that!
I didn’t have to volunteer there long,
before I got hired. I was there for
about 3 months, making connections
and showing what I could do. When
there was a job opening I still had to
apply, but my resume was on top of
the pile!
I got my present job by volunteering
there first.
It sure will. It will help me get back
into my profession and I’ll learn some
new skills as well.

Dear Miss Jones,
I am inquiring about volunteer positions
available at your school. I am very
interested in working with children. In
fact, before moving to Canada I was an
elementary school teacher. I believe my
skills would be a great asset to you and
your school.
Thank you for your consideration,
Rashwinder Kumar
