know	
  Mr.	
  Ding	
  for	
  four	
  weeks,	
  he	
  has	
  impressed	
  me	
  as	
  a	
  very	
  responsible	
  young	
  man.	
  I	
  have	
  
witnessed	
  Rirsthand	
  his	
  excellent	
  work	
  ethic,	
  his	
  great	
  enthusiasm	
  and	
  willingness	
  to	
  learn,	
  
his	
  attention	
  to	
  details,	
  and	
  his	
  positive	
  energy	
  and	
  attitude	
  in	
  a	
  team	
  environment.	
  	
  
Mr.	
  Ding	
  has	
  a	
  very	
  curious	
  mind	
  and	
  is	
  self-­‐motivated.	
  He	
  often	
  asked	
  why	
  things	
  are	
  
done	
  in	
  certain	
  ways	
  and	
  made	
  some	
  very	
  good	
  suggestions	
  on	
  improving	
  the	
  process.	
  For	
  
example,	
   the	
   summer	
   intern	
   group	
   worked	
   on	
   company’s	
   three	
   year	
   operating	
   plan.	
   The	
  
document	
  contains	
  key	
  items	
  of	
  Rinancial	
  statements	
  and	
  the	
  data	
  was	
  in	
  a	
  big	
  spreadsheet.	
  	
  
Mr.	
  Ding	
  not	
  only	
  demonstrated	
  his	
  ability	
  in	
  utilizing	
  Excel	
  and	
  PowerPoint,	
  he	
  was	
  also	
  able	
  
to	
  sort	
  out	
  some	
  formula	
  issues	
  utilizing	
  his	
  classroom	
  trainings.	
  He	
  showed	
  the	
  willingness	
  
to	
  take	
  initiatives	
  and	
  ownership	
  for	
  his	
  assignment	
  by	
  asking	
  right	
  questions	
  to	
  clarify	
  the	
  
requests	
  and	
  checked	
  his	
  work	
  to	
  ensure	
  accuracy.	
  For	
  example,	
  when	
  he	
  noticed	
  that	
  some	
  
of	
   the	
   key	
   assumptions	
   were	
   not	
   developed	
   on	
   time,	
   he	
   came	
   forward	
   with	
   his	
   team	
   to	
  
remind	
  the	
  project	
  leader	
  about	
  the	
  situation,	
  which	
  helped	
  the	
  team	
  to	
  complete	
  the	
  project	
  
on	
  time.	
  	
  
Mr.	
  Ding	
  was	
  a	
  good	
  team	
  player	
  and	
  brought	
  the	
  positive	
  energy	
  to	
  the	
  team.	
  He	
  was	
  
very	
  dedicated	
  to	
  work	
  and	
  often	
  offered	
  to	
  stay	
  late	
  if	
  we	
  need	
  extra	
  hands.	
  Because	
  of	
  his	
  
great	
  personality	
  and	
  easygoing	
  attitude,	
  the	
  entire	
  team	
  enjoyed	
  his	
  presence.	
  	
  
There	
  were	
  several	
  college	
  interns	
  working	
  for	
  us	
  during

  summer

  Ding	
  
deRinitely

  • 1. 东方花旗证券有限公司 Citi Orient Securities Company Limited 中国上海市黄浦区 24/F, No. 318 South Zhong Shan Rd. 中山南路318号24层 Shanghai, China 200010 邮编 200010 citiorient.com 电话 +86 21 2315 3888 传真 +86 21 2315 3500 July  28,  2015   To  Whom  It  May  Concern,   It  is  my  great  pleasure  to  write  a  recommendation  letter  for  Mr.  Ding  Ximin  (Teddy).  I   am  a  Citigroup  Representative  at  Citi  Orient  Securities  Ltd,  a  joint  venture  investment  bank   of  Citigroup  and  Orient  Securities.  I  am  also  the  head  of  company’s  Junior  Banker  Group.  Mr.   Ding  spent  part  of  his  summer  with  my  team  as  a  summer  intern.    Although  I  have  only  got  to   know  Mr.  Ding  for  four  weeks,  he  has  impressed  me  as  a  very  responsible  young  man.  I  have   witnessed  Rirsthand  his  excellent  work  ethic,  his  great  enthusiasm  and  willingness  to  learn,   his  attention  to  details,  and  his  positive  energy  and  attitude  in  a  team  environment.     Mr.  Ding  has  a  very  curious  mind  and  is  self-­‐motivated.  He  often  asked  why  things  are   done  in  certain  ways  and  made  some  very  good  suggestions  on  improving  the  process.  For   example,   the   summer   intern   group   worked   on   company’s   three   year   operating   plan.   The   document  contains  key  items  of  Rinancial  statements  and  the  data  was  in  a  big  spreadsheet.     Mr.  Ding  not  only  demonstrated  his  ability  in  utilizing  Excel  and  PowerPoint,  he  was  also  able   to  sort  out  some  formula  issues  utilizing  his  classroom  trainings.  He  showed  the  willingness   to  take  initiatives  and  ownership  for  his  assignment  by  asking  right  questions  to  clarify  the   requests  and  checked  his  work  to  ensure  accuracy.  For  example,  when  he  noticed  that  some   of   the   key   assumptions   were   not   developed   on   time,   he   came   forward   with   his   team   to   remind  the  project  leader  about  the  situation,  which  helped  the  team  to  complete  the  project   on  time.     Mr.  Ding  was  a  good  team  player  and  brought  the  positive  energy  to  the  team.  He  was   very  dedicated  to  work  and  often  offered  to  stay  late  if  we  need  extra  hands.  Because  of  his   great  personality  and  easygoing  attitude,  the  entire  team  enjoyed  his  presence.     There  were  several  college  interns  working  for  us  during  the  summer  and  Mr.  Ding   deRinitely  stands  out  as  a  well-­‐rounded  individual.  He  showed  great  interest  toward  learning;   he  was  both  responsible  and  accountable;  he  was  willingness  to  contribute  as  an  individual   and  working  with  a  team.  I  believe  that  these  great  qualities  will  help  him  to  be  successful  on   whatever  he  sets  his  mind  on  to  achieve.   If  you  have  any  questions  about  this  letter,  please  feel  free  to  send  me  an  email  at   michelle.chen@citiorient.com.   Sincerely,     Michelle  Chen   Director   Citigroup  Global  Markets  Asia,  Limited   Finance  Representative,  Citi  Orient  Securities
