6TH Issue
With the passes of June, we are in the 3rd
quarter of the year 2015, means half of the
year has already passed. This special issue of
the newsletter is dedicated to last six months
events & achievements. It is perfect time &
opportunity to look back at what happened
and what we have achieved.
This special issue newsletter will be focused on
two major points. One, addition of Multi
National Clients like PWC, WNS in India
Operations & huge expansion of CDI team (25
people team, which is largest ever team in
VBeyond for a client). Second, VBeyond
Premier League 2015 (May) which was a grand
level cricket tournament. VPL was focused on
employee engagement & maximum
participation of employees followed by a
grand After Party in Blue Lounge, Hazaratganj.
The significant factor was the presence of our
top three leaders & their active involvement in
VPL (Some people quoted this as mini
conference  ).
To conclude additional aspects of this issue,
Interview-Featured employee, B ‘day, work
anniversary, reward & recognition, are major
column of focus. We strongly believe
remaining six months will be remarkable in
VBeyond history for business stand of point.
We will hire & develop resources even more in
the future (more likely, we will cross 100
employees number in couple of month). We
hope you will enjoy reading the newsletter!

Baleshwar popularly known as Bala amongst his colleagues has completed his
successful 7 years in VBeyond. Team SANSMARAN took the opportunity to
highlight his personal and professional journey with VBeyond Corporation.
Question 1: What made you join VBeyond Corporation?... Since VBeyond is celebrating your 7th work anniversary, so I
should ask, how VBeyond found you?
Bala: Hahaha… I am honored! Well it is same story which generally happens with every college graduate. I got selected
in VBeyond through college campus, in the year 2008. To be very frank, at that time decision was very tough. VBeyond
was start up that time. It was my first interview & I was in great dilemma to join or to wait for next company. But
somewhere in back of my mind, I was looking for some bigger opportunity. There was risk and growth both were
involved in that decision but I took the risk keeping future growth in my mind. And I feel proud that my decision was
right.
Question 2: When you completed 2 years with VBeyond, at that point of time, what was thought process about your
career in VBeyond?
Bala: I joined VBeyond in June 2008 as a management trainee at Gurgaon centre. And within 3 months, I did 21
placements, it was mass hiring for TNS (now it is Kantar
Group). Being a fresher in the industry, that was biggest
achievement for me. In January 2009 I got promoted as
Recruitment Executive & then as an Assistant manager.
It sounds very good but reality was different. It was
starting of my career & I got promoted bit fast but kind
of responsibility and work challenges can justify all
stages of promotion. So in nut shell “My decision was
right because I was growing with the organization.
Question 3: When you moved to Lucknow, and how did
you manage everything professionally and personally.
Bala: Well professionally moving from tier 1 city to tier
2 city was biggest challenge. We moved to Lucknow on
25th June 2009.We were ready for all kind of challenges
like limited opportunity, limited resources and
establishing all together new infrastructure. But it was
not mountain which I had to conquer instead I was

ready to conquer myself and I did it. Initially we
started insurance hiring, but could not get
substantial in that domain, so after 6 months (Jan
2010), we started executive search hiring with
Genpact & few other clients. Then in May-June
2010 we started our US Operations. Still I was
responsible for operations, HR and admin. But
good part was that we included energetic and
dynamic team members like Devina, Disha, Pragya,
Beena in India Operations and Alok, Sid, Fakhrul in
US Operations.
Question 4: So when did you get rid of operations
and came as a full-fledged HR?
Bala: Well in recruiting/staffing firm like ours,
there is very small place for dedicated HR resource.
So, I was always part of operations team. But yes!
You can say since late 2013 early 2014 I started
acting as full-fledged HR, because till that time I
managed to set up dedicated department for
admin & finance, marketing and IT.
Question 5: Your milestone/Achievements so for in
the organization?
Bala: Establishing Lucknow branch, creating and
formulating HR policies, compliances,
documentation, quality hiring and more hahaha!
Question 6: What kind of attitude you generally
see in fresher?
Bala: I want to say two words, they are restless and
always looking shortcut to success. But what I want
to suggest them, they should first learn skill & have
proper taste of success. They should always look
for learning & this can not be possible without
devoting substantial time in a company. And if you
think after spending quality time, there is no
scope for new learning and growth, you should
then take your decision. At VBeyond you can see

no. of examples, people has achieved good
position and increased their roles and
responsibilities.
Question 7: How do you look at your growth
graph, personally and professionally?
Bala: Well personally, I joined VBeyond when I
was single, but now have a great life partner and
recently blessed with baby boy. And professional
I feel I am HR of one of the growing organization
which is “Employer of choice” in Lucknow.
Question 8: Your interest?
Bala: Bala is known for “Singer of VBeyond”
,hahaha, though I have tough competition with
new VBeyondians. But I like singing and
whenever I get time, I do write also.
Question 9: Very old question Bala, How do you
manage your work-life balance?
Bala: If in the organization your role is critical and
you are one of the responsible person, in that
case working hours cannot be defined. I used to
have had tough time to manage my personal life
and professional life. Like other senior leaders,
even I had to face complaints from my wife and
brother, but this is how it happened and I
managed. But on top of that I have got flexi
working hours too, that’s been a great help to
manage my personal and professional life.
Question 10: Chalte-Chalte, VBeyondian’s
favorite HR wants to say something?
Bala: Frankly, I don’t feel myself that great that
you wished to had my interview.
Since starting, I never wanted me to be in
limelight. Whatever came to me….
I did it..I did it with full dedication & honesty.
Further, I don’t know I am favorite HR or not &
neither my aim is to become favorite but
I want to become honest & strong HR.

My name is Ajit Augustine. I did my schooling from
St. Mary’s Convent Inter Collage. I graduated from
Lucknow Christian Degree College in Commerce
discipline. Apart from graduation I am Jetking Certified
Hardware and Networking Professional.
This is my first job here with VBeyond. I am into
US Operations. I have spent almost 7 months with
the organization and has developed as a professional
in talent acquisition/ recruitment.
I have been awarded as the “BEST RECRUITER for the
month of MAY”.
Apart from work I like spending time with
“MUSICKKK”. Yes that’s the way I pronounce it because
music completes me and it’s like a fever that never
goes. Be it song composition, drumming, playing
power chords on guitar and synthesizer.
Out of my personal life I have some social
responsibilities. Being a youth member of my church I
have been assigned the responsibility of managing the
youths of my church. Through liturgical, musical and
biblical events I try to bring out there talents. I have my
GOSPEL BAND named “RU-BA-RU” and I am the lead
drummer and the sound engineer for my musical
group. We organize many such events for the youths of
lucknow.
I always believe in giving my 100 percent whatever I
do. I love interacting with people because I believe
each and every heart has a unique story which teaches
a lesson and more importantly helps in confining a
VISION…………………..!!! 7

VBeyond’s Team Hudson is one of the fastest growing team under RPO vertical. Presenting,
Small case study, why these guys are cynosure of all eyes at VBeyond Corporation.
As a team what these guys did differently.
After few initial hiccups in the month of Feb team was little bit diverted and nervous because of new challenges. They started
focusing on all kind of requirements from all offices of Hudson and made strategy to fulfill all the uncovered requirements and
supported the client with full spirit.
They are the team of 5 guys (Bhanu, Navneet, Ritesh, Sunil, Divyansh) and they support 3 offices of Hudson and each office has
their own way of working style, so it was tough for these guys to adopt any individual culture and work. They made their own
way of working style that was "Aggressive Recruitment" and made strategy to fulfill any req within the SLA of 24 hours and this
mantra was successful shot and proved to be a super hit mantra for them.
They always worked in an independent culture and discussed all the basic issues to overcome all hurdles. Daily monitoring
helped them to evaluate their performance .They started focusing on the quality of work and delivered the best quality
candidates against all the requirements and this helped them to achieve the desired goal.
They have been successful on all the accounts of Hudson and opened a new and most popular account of Hudson "Ameriprise
Financials" and made 4 placements in a single month "April '15".
Bhanu’s (Team Lead) success mantra:
After few down falls Bhanu analyzed the deviation point of team and did his own assessment and decided to lead from the front
with the account managers. He scheduled weekly call with the account managers and made it as a regular practice to
understand client’s needs and requirements and reflected only positive points in front of his team. He fetched maximum
requirements from client and supported them aggressively with the quality work. It helped Bhanu to stamp his trust on client
and that made Bhanu, client’s first preference to support their requirements.
Relationship building practice helped Bhanu to get the insight of the work and he guided his team mates to prioritize the
requirements. Bhanu said, “I had involved team members and I let my team members know, the pressure of client, which kept
them alive to work hard and get the success.” Bhanu didn’t stop here, he Started sharing the performance sheet with the
account managers of Hudson and took their feedback to overcome the lags.

  • 2. With the passes of June, we are in the 3rd quarter of the year 2015, means half of the year has already passed. This special issue of the newsletter is dedicated to last six months events & achievements. It is perfect time & opportunity to look back at what happened and what we have achieved. This special issue newsletter will be focused on two major points. One, addition of Multi National Clients like PWC, WNS in India Operations & huge expansion of CDI team (25 people team, which is largest ever team in VBeyond for a client). Second, VBeyond Premier League 2015 (May) which was a grand level cricket tournament. VPL was focused on employee engagement & maximum participation of employees followed by a grand After Party in Blue Lounge, Hazaratganj. The significant factor was the presence of our top three leaders & their active involvement in VPL (Some people quoted this as mini conference  ). To conclude additional aspects of this issue, Interview-Featured employee, B ‘day, work anniversary, reward & recognition, are major column of focus. We strongly believe remaining six months will be remarkable in VBeyond history for business stand of point.   • 3. Baleshwar popularly known as Bala amongst his colleagues has completed his successful 7 years in VBeyond. Team SANSMARAN took the opportunity to highlight his personal and professional journey with VBeyond Corporation. Question 1: What made you join VBeyond Corporation?... Since VBeyond is celebrating your 7th work anniversary, so I should ask, how VBeyond found you? Bala: Hahaha… I am honored! Well it is same story which generally happens with every college graduate. I got selected in VBeyond through college campus, in the year 2008. To be very frank, at that time decision was very tough. VBeyond was start up that time. It was my first interview & I was in great dilemma to join or to wait for next company. But somewhere in back of my mind, I was looking for some bigger opportunity. There was risk and growth both were involved in that decision but I took the risk keeping future growth in my mind. And I feel proud that my decision was right. Question 2: When you completed 2 years with VBeyond, at that point of time, what was thought process about your career in VBeyond? Bala: I joined VBeyond in June 2008 as a management trainee at Gurgaon centre. And within 3 months, I did 21 placements, it was mass hiring for TNS (now it is Kantar Group). Being a fresher in the industry, that was biggest achievement for me. In January 2009 I got promoted as Recruitment Executive & then as an Assistant manager. It sounds very good but reality was different. It was starting of my career & I got promoted bit fast but kind of responsibility and work challenges can justify all stages of promotion. So in nut shell “My decision was right because I was growing with the organization. Question 3: When you moved to Lucknow, and how did you manage everything professionally and personally. Bala: Well professionally moving from tier 1 city to tier 2 city was biggest challenge. We moved to Lucknow on 25th June 2009.We were ready for all kind of challenges like limited opportunity, limited resources and establishing all together new infrastructure. But it was not mountain which I had to conquer instead I was “ “ “May be one day we’ll find the place where our dreams and reality collide.” 3
  • 4. ready to conquer myself and I did it. Initially we started insurance hiring, but could not get substantial in that domain, so after 6 months (Jan 2010), we started executive search hiring with Genpact & few other clients. Then in May-June 2010 we started our US Operations. Still I was responsible for operations, HR and admin. But good part was that we included energetic and dynamic team members like Devina, Disha, Pragya, Beena in India Operations and Alok, Sid, Fakhrul in US Operations. Question 4: So when did you get rid of operations and came as a full-fledged HR? Bala: Well in recruiting/staffing firm like ours, there is very small place for dedicated HR resource. So, I was always part of operations team. But yes! You can say since late 2013 early 2014 I started acting as full-fledged HR, because till that time I managed to set up dedicated department for admin & finance, marketing and IT. Question 5: Your milestone/Achievements so for in the organization? Bala: Establishing Lucknow branch, creating and formulating HR policies, compliances, documentation, quality hiring and more hahaha! Question 6: What kind of attitude you generally see in fresher? Bala: I want to say two words, they are restless and always looking shortcut to success. But what I want to suggest them, they should first learn skill & have proper taste of success. They should always look for learning & this can not be possible without devoting substantial time in a company. And if you think after spending quality time, there is no scope for new learning and growth, you should then take your decision. At VBeyond you can see 4
  • 5. no. of examples, people has achieved good position and increased their roles and responsibilities. Question 7: How do you look at your growth graph, personally and professionally? Bala: Well personally, I joined VBeyond when I was single, but now have a great life partner and recently blessed with baby boy. And professional I feel I am HR of one of the growing organization which is “Employer of choice” in Lucknow. Question 8: Your interest? Bala: Bala is known for “Singer of VBeyond” ,hahaha, though I have tough competition with new VBeyondians. But I like singing and whenever I get time, I do write also. Question 9: Very old question Bala, How do you manage your work-life balance? Bala: If in the organization your role is critical and you are one of the responsible person, in that case working hours cannot be defined. I used to have had tough time to manage my personal life and professional life. Like other senior leaders, even I had to face complaints from my wife and brother, but this is how it happened and I managed. But on top of that I have got flexi working hours too, that’s been a great help to manage my personal and professional life. Question 10: Chalte-Chalte, VBeyondian’s favorite HR wants to say something? Bala: Frankly, I don’t feel myself that great that you wished to had my interview. Since starting, I never wanted me to be in limelight. Whatever came to me…. I did it..I did it with full dedication & honesty. Further, I don’t know I am favorite HR or not & neither my aim is to become favorite but I want to become honest & strong HR. 5

  • 7. My name is Ajit Augustine. I did my schooling from St. Mary’s Convent Inter Collage. I graduated from Lucknow Christian Degree College in Commerce discipline. Apart from graduation I am Jetking Certified Hardware and Networking Professional. This is my first job here with VBeyond. I am into US Operations. I have spent almost 7 months with the organization and has developed as a professional in talent acquisition/ recruitment. I have been awarded as the “BEST RECRUITER for the month of MAY”. Apart from work I like spending time with “MUSICKKK”. Yes that’s the way I pronounce it because music completes me and it’s like a fever that never goes. Be it song composition, drumming, playing power chords on guitar and synthesizer. Out of my personal life I have some social responsibilities. Being a youth member of my church I have been assigned the responsibility of managing the youths of my church. Through liturgical, musical and biblical events I try to bring out there talents. I have my GOSPEL BAND named “RU-BA-RU” and I am the lead drummer and the sound engineer for my musical group. We organize many such events for the youths of lucknow. I always believe in giving my 100 percent whatever I do. I love interacting with people because I believe each and every heart has a unique story which teaches a lesson and more importantly helps in confining a VISION…………………..!!! 7

  • 12. VBeyond’s Team Hudson is one of the fastest growing team under RPO vertical. Presenting, Small case study, why these guys are cynosure of all eyes at VBeyond Corporation. As a team what these guys did differently. After few initial hiccups in the month of Feb team was little bit diverted and nervous because of new challenges. They started focusing on all kind of requirements from all offices of Hudson and made strategy to fulfill all the uncovered requirements and supported the client with full spirit. They are the team of 5 guys (Bhanu, Navneet, Ritesh, Sunil, Divyansh) and they support 3 offices of Hudson and each office has their own way of working style, so it was tough for these guys to adopt any individual culture and work. They made their own way of working style that was "Aggressive Recruitment" and made strategy to fulfill any req within the SLA of 24 hours and this mantra was successful shot and proved to be a super hit mantra for them. They always worked in an independent culture and discussed all the basic issues to overcome all hurdles. Daily monitoring helped them to evaluate their performance .They started focusing on the quality of work and delivered the best quality candidates against all the requirements and this helped them to achieve the desired goal. They have been successful on all the accounts of Hudson and opened a new and most popular account of Hudson "Ameriprise Financials" and made 4 placements in a single month "April '15". Bhanu’s (Team Lead) success mantra: After few down falls Bhanu analyzed the deviation point of team and did his own assessment and decided to lead from the front with the account managers. He scheduled weekly call with the account managers and made it as a regular practice to understand client’s needs and requirements and reflected only positive points in front of his team. He fetched maximum requirements from client and supported them aggressively with the quality work. It helped Bhanu to stamp his trust on client and that made Bhanu, client’s first preference to support their requirements. Relationship building practice helped Bhanu to get the insight of the work and he guided his team mates to prioritize the requirements. Bhanu said, “I had involved team members and I let my team members know, the pressure of client, which kept them alive to work hard and get the success.” Bhanu didn’t stop here, he Started sharing the performance sheet with the account managers of Hudson and took their feedback to overcome the lags.
