2.  The jBaby program of the Jewish United Fund/Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Chicago (JUF) has
expanded into the Chicago suburbs. A party to
celebrate the expansion was held on February 8,
2015, at Little Beans Cafe in Evanston and attended
by more than 200 families. jBaby has been successful
within Chicago itself, and JUF looks forward to
extending its reach.
jBaby exists to help families with children under 2
connect with one another. It works with both Jewish
and interfaith families, building communities of
parents who can share information about parenting,
schools, and how to work Judaism into their children’s
lives.

3.  The program operates playgroups and
maintains a list of parent ambassadors who
can help parents new to jBaby take best
advantage of its resources. It also offers
handpicked baby swag to new members, who
can get their welcome gift by meeting up with
an ambassador either at their home or for
coffee.
