A great place to start is the Fairfax County Library’s virtual career center.<br />Find tools and information for every stage of the job hunt including a questionnaire that helps match people to the right job; tips for interviewing; résumé writing; and more. <br />
  4. 4. Free Tax Filing Assistance<br />The Department of Family Services’ Northern Virginia CASH Campaign offers free tax filing assistance to individuals and families who earned less than $49,000 in 2010. <br />
  5. 5. Free Tax Filing Assistance<br />IRS certified volunteers will ensure you receive the maximum tax refund and help determine if you are eligible for the earned income tax credit.<br />For more information call the Falls Church SkillSource Center at 703-533-5400.<br />

Teen Dating Abuse<br />February is National Teen Dating Abuse Awareness month and a Teen Dating Abuse fact sheet is now available online.<br />The annual Youth Survey looks at the behaviors, experiences and other factors that influence the health and well-being of Fairfax County youth. <br />www.fairfaxcounty.gov/government/about/data<br />
  7. 7. Volunteers Needed<br />In Fairfax County, approximately 44,000 kids receive free and reduced meals during the school year. <br />For many of these kids, when the school year ends, so does the opportunity for consistent, nutritious meals.  <br />

Volunteers Needed<br />The Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services – in partnership with the USDA and local organizations – provides free, nutritious breakfasts and lunches to children ages 4 to 18 to help them get the nutrition they need to learn, play, and grow throughout the summer.  <br />
