Lack of motivation – The need for interesting set induction.
It is observed that the pupils’ enthusiasim is high and
thus feeling more motivated in writing and the more
motivated a student, the higher the likelihood of their
efforts for success (Beeland 1992).
Using real life photographs to capture pupils’ attention
It is observed that pupils showed a higher enthusiasm
level and is more motivated
4. Pupils were told that they could mention anything
they can see in the pictures and come out with 2
simple descriptive sentences that describes the
picture .
Strategy
Inability to generate ideas – Real life photographs
serves as inspiration.
Assimilation and accommodation require an active
learner, not a passive one, because problem-solving
skills cannot be taught, they must be
discovered.(Piaget 1948)
Pupils are able to come out with 2 simple descriptive
sentences.
