Quantitative research uses statistical models and surveys to measure variables and understand relationships in a large population sample. It aims to be objective but lacks context and natural settings. While it allows measurement and testing of hypotheses, quantitative research ignores individual meanings and requires large samples. It creates statistical models to understand opinions, image, positions, awareness and attitudes through surveys but does not study things in their natural environment or discuss different perspectives like qualitative research.
