Luke 7:36-50 36 And one of the Pharisees desiredhim that he wouldeat
with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.

38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet
with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his
feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within
himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, wouldhave known who and
what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

2. 40 And Jesus answeringsaidunto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say
unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
He wanted God to condemn a sinner but not point out his sin.

You must have a bible education direct from Godsword or you will
not grasp the fact that one sin against the Holy God puts you in the
“wicked” class.

Not only did Simon “Judge” but, from Jesus lips Simon judged rightly.
44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this
woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet:
but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of
her head.
45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath
not ceased to kiss my feet.
46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed
my feet with ointment.
47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for
she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
Jas 1:23-25 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is
like unto a man beholdinghis natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightwayforgetteth
what manner of man he was.

4. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth
therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man
shall be blessed in his deed.

50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
Simon had faith, but it was misplaced. Your faith is only as good the
one in whom your faith is placed.

5. The Pharisee’s faith is in his own works;
This sinful woman’sfaith was in the sinless Son of God.
Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins shouldbe preached
in his name among all nations, beginningat Jerusalem.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other
name under heaven given among men, wherebywe must be saved.
Acts 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that
through this man is preachedunto you the forgiveness of sins:
1John 2:12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven
you for his name's sake.
