Dear English Teacher,
Thank you for supporting the school-wide fundraising effort to benefit Water for Sudan.
After our presentation on Friday, December 8, please continue to pass around this envelope
through Wednesday, December 13, and assign a student to tally each class total, write the
total on this envelope, and seal donations in a separate letter sized envelope each day. A
leadership student will be around to collect manila envelopes at the end of each day, or you
can return them to Mr. Kantz. Please offer a Water for Sudan icon to any student donating
$1 or more on any single day. These should be returned with your envelopes so that they can
be posted in our main hallway. The class with the most generous overall donation ($ divided
by # of students) will be awarded a pizza party (breakfast if it is a morning class) on the day
of your choice the week of Dec. 18-22. Award certificates will be given to the classes with
the top five averages. Please encourage your students to participate in order to help this
worthy cause and to build school spirit.
