The students who are admitting
every year to Kalidasa Junior High
School/College are mainly from rural
background and a few students from
Tumkur city.
About 70-80% of the students of K
J C are from very poor background
and it is very difficult for their
parents to bare minimum needs of
education like Books, Fees, Uniforms
etc.
Out of 10, only 2 students will have
minimum basic needs and good
educational support from their family.

To ensure that the underprivileged Bright students studying in
K J C Siragate, Tumkur
Should get basic amenities of education like books, uniform, school
fee so that they can complete
atleast class X, irrespective of hurdles in their family
and blossom into a socially responsible, independent
and mature adult.
Objective
What we are Doing since 2010?
Every Academic Year in the month of July. From
EmPoStEd team we are providing
• School Uniform to around 50+ Students (boys & Girls)
• Scholarships to Around 10 Bright Students (having poor family
background) each Rs 1000 for his educational expenses for 9th ,
10th & 2nd PU students.
• Distribution of NOTE BOOKS/geometry to 8th, 9th & 10th class
students around 50+ students
• Installed WATER PURIFIER in the school premise which is
benefitting a lot for more than 1000+ students to have hygienic
Drinking water Facility
• This time the event will be held on 12th July 2014,
Saturday 9 am @ Kalidasa Junior College, Siragate, Tumkur

to school in order to use the same with the
projector already available in the school.
•Sound system for the projector room.
