Remembering
Tyshaun Lamar Cauldwell
Academics Art
Citizenship Sportsmanship
Each year, scholarship awards will be made to four
deserving 6th grade students at School #17 that
exhibit Tyshaun’s outstanding qualities of academic
achievement, citizenship, art and sportsmanship.
Tyshaun’s innocent and untimely death galvanized
many efforts in the Rochester Community and still
fuels JOSANA’s activism. His life is the inspiration for
this memorial scholarship fund—to recognize the
talent and abilities of other promising young
students; today’s youth that are bound to be
tomorrow’s leaders.
