Individual Novel Project It is time to let your creativity shine!! In this project, you are going to create something to share with me that is related to the book. The only caveat is that you have to find a way to present it to me digitally. You can film a movie trailer, create a short comic-book version of the novel using Pixton.com or Story Creator 2.0, or create an animated short story. You can use Dipity or Time Toast to create a timeline of the novel, or use Museum Box to create a time-capsule for the novel. You may do a painting, a sculpture, write a song, write a poem, choreograph and perform a dance, build a diorama, direct a movie, or do a report on something related to the novel in some way. The report might be about shipwrecks in the 1890s, or about Darwin, or about animal breeding, or about eugenics. It might be about H.G. Wells's life or another one of his novels. If you choose to write a report, please remember that all facts, statistics, paraphrases, and quotations must be properly cited (in the text and in a works-cited list). Do not choose the research essay option if you have not successfully completed ENG 101 or are not confident in proper source use skills. Even those who write papers must record a presentation summarizing their paper and showing me its highlights in a screencast. Those who create artwork must record themselves showing and describing their artwork.
