Are you nervous about choosing a new housemate to live with? These are people that you will likely see every day, so it's important to choose someone you're compatible with! Think of this guide as a friendly questionnaire that you can use to cover all the bases with your potential new housemate. For example, do they have pets, are they currently working and/or studying and what’s their stance on house parties? Avoid suffering from housemate disappointment by getting to know your new roommate properly before they move in. If you do find yourself experiencing housemate issues, despite asking all the right questions, we can help! Chat to a USQ Welfare Officer at Student Services or visit us on Social Hub to find out how to address common housemate issues.
