IN THE ZONE
“Serving Those Who Serve” Hello Area I Community Members,
July has come and gone....we’ve celebrated
the 4th of July in style, featured the 'Rock Band'
Alien Ant Farm, went to the Annual 'Mud Festival
in Boryeong, held the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
for the new Walk/Run path at Camp Casey, hosted
Golf Tourneys, celebrated ACS' 50th Birthday,
renovated the Warrior's Club 'NAPs Pub,' bid
farewell to our Camp Casey Garrison Commander,
LTC Eldridge—welcomed our new Casey Garrison
Commander LTC Gardner, and much more!
August does not slow down for us. First of all, we welcome our newest
FMWR team members—Ms. Eleni Smeltz, our new Area I CYSS Coordinator,
who joins us from USAG Japan; Ms Jacqueline Gray as our new Catering
Manager, and Brendy Santiago our new Budget Assistant. We are featuring
'Wild Ginseng Hunting' at the Hamyang Festival, "Voice of the Customer"
Appreciation Party at Mitchell's Club, hosting the Area I Final Four Basketball
Championships, welcoming some of your favorite Wrestlers, (who will
be signing autographs at Camp Casey), and we have the following trips:
Wolmido Night Cruise Tour and Nami Island Tour. After a short hiatus,
the DMZ Tour area has finally opened and FMWR is providing you with 3
opportunities to visit this "must see" destination! Keep in mind, this is simply
the 'tip of the iceberg' as it concerns August programming and services; so be
sure to peruse the "ITZ Magazine" in its entirety so you don’t miss anything!
Last thing, I want to "THANK OUR CUSTOMERS" for voting the Mitchell’s
Club as the ‘Best Night Spot’ and Indianhead Golf Course as the ‘Best Golf
Course’ in Korea, featured in the Stars & Stripes 'Best-of-Pacific' magazine for
2015....
See you out and about!

Calling all amateur singers in Area 1! Family, and Morale, Welfare and Recreation
(FMWR) is pleased to present the 2015 Operation Rising Star competition! This
unique singing competition is an FMWR partnership between the Business Operations
Division and the Recreation Division, and is open to Active Duty Military and their
family members, who are 18 years of age or older, and have a valid Department of
Defense Identification Card.
2015 Operation Rising Star will come to Area 1 in September 2015. Registration
will be accepted at all Community Activity Centers (CAC) in Area 1 and will start
September 1st. Registration deadline will be noon on September 10th, 2015. Each
Camp in Area 1 will host their own preliminary rounds, where finalists will be selected
to move onto the Area 1 wide 2015 Operation Rising Star Final Round, which will be
held on Friday, September 25th, 2015, at the Gateway Club.
This competition provides family-fun entertainment and creates an esprit de corps
environment that promotes a strong, ready, and resilient force. The competition also
helps identify potential talent for the U.S. Army Soldier Show.
Each finalist selected to participate in the Final Round, will compete for the Area 1 prizes that will
consist of $750 for 1st place, $350 for 2nd place, and $200 for 3rd place. The First Place Winner of the
Area 1 wide 2015 Operation Rising Star competition will also receive consideration in the Army wide
competition and a possibility to attend the finals in San Antonio, Texas, on or about November 18th,
2015. These lucky finalists going to San Antonio will have a chance to compete for the Grand Prize; an
all-expense paid recording studio trip for two, which will allow the winner to produce a 3 song demo CD
and $1,000 spending cash!
In addition to the competitors’ prizes, local Units and Family Readiness Groups (FRG) can compete to
win the coveted “Spirit Award” and win $300 in Unit or FRG funds. So, mark your calendars, and show up
in large numbers to support your finalists for the Area 1 wide 2015 Operation Rising Star competition at

Summer has come, the sun is out and the weather is
beautiful here in South Korea. That can only mean one
thing, it’s time to go to the beach! Wouldn’t you know
that BOSS (Better Opportunity for Single Soldiers) was
thinking the exact same thing? During this event, BOSS
teamed up with Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United
States (VFW) to kick-off the 2015 BOSS Beach Blast
in Taean City, Chungnam Province located near Area
3. The event was held from June 26th through June
28th, which included service members from all Army
installations in South Korea.
If you weren’t at this event then you missed out
on an amazing trip, not only that but you missed out
on a perfect example of what BOSS has to offer for
Soldiers stationed in Korea. You might think that your
time would be better spent in the barracks or making
your way down to the local ville, but that’s where
you’re wrong, BOSS is here to help make your tour, as
enjoyable as possible; it certainly was on fully display
during this three day beach trip!
The buses left Area 1 on a Friday morning, and
began their trip down south. After about a three hour
bus ride with a 30 minute rest stop, we arrived at our
destination, and we were quickly welcomed to the
Beach Party.
Checking in to the event couldn’t have been any
easier with BOSS officials making sure everything went
quickly and smoothly to make sure everyone gets

settled and begin enjoying the festivities immediately.
The rooms gave people a chance to experience
Korean culture, as not all beach goers had rooms with
beds. Some of the guest had ondols, not beds in
the Western sense but rather, thick padded blankets
laid out on heated floors. The ondols were definitely
a great experience for people to try something new,
without it being too adventurous.
The party started right away. Even while checking
in you could hear the DJ blasting music, and once
everyone’s bags were down in their rooms that’s
exactly where everyone went; to the beach! The set
up was amazing, from the stage to the bar to the
volleyball nets, everything looked great, and because
everyone was arriving throughout the day, didn’t
mean that the others had to wait; the fun had already
started. The VFW and BOSS had stage acts lined up
all night long, that ranged from a stand-up comedian
act all the way to a Latin music group which had the
crowd dancing all over the beach.
One of the best parts of the trip, was that all of the
meals were taken care of by the event organizers.
Don’t think that it was just cold cuts and bags of chips
that were served, because that wasn’t the case at all.
There was a lot of planning that went into every meal
to make sure everyone had a chance to be fed well,
with all sorts of food selections from fried chicken to
slow cooked BBQ ribs, to breakfast sandwiches, not to
mention there were second helpings offered to anyone
that wanted them. If event goers wanted something
else they had a wide variety of stores and restaurants
available where they could pick up something.
During the morning before the events started,
I found some time to take a walk down the beach
to see what the whole area was like, and I wasn’t
disappointed at all. Yes, there were some areas with
large unclimbable rocks, but the beach itself was
absolutely beautiful, peaceful and serene. If left to
my own devices I could have spent the entire day just
sitting on the beach looking out at a small island off
the shore.
The second day of the event was when things really
started to pick up, with a lot of fun activities and prizes
to be won by service members. The beach was almost

like a carnival with everything BOSS and VFW put
together. There were beach oriented games like the
classic water balloon toss, beach volleyball and coconut
bowling, where contestants used coconuts to knock
down pineapple pins. Then there were other things
like Zorb Soccer which were giant bubbles that people
got into and played a very high impact, low risk game
of soccer, a favorite of many of the event goers.
“For me, it was a pretty interesting spin on soccer,
but more importantly it was a lot of fun, especially
when we went full contact.” Said Specialist Justin
Becker with a smile.
Then there were some events that were open all day
like the harness trampoline which would send you up
higher than you would ever expect a carnival type ride
to do. Also, there were a few bouncy room-like games,
one of which was boxing, and another that simulated
surfing, similar to mechanical bull riding.
“All of the games and attractions made the event
that much better, not to mention being able to share
the experiences with soldiers from every area was
something special,” said Specialist Mery Gallardo.
That feeling was shared by most attendees. All of
these games and events were offered during a beautiful
and sunny day. Even with all the games there was
plenty of time for everyone to enjoy the beach, itself.
Many people took this time to soak up the rays and
just relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life,
which was the whole point of this excursion anyway.
Saturday night was not a dull affair. The party went
on to the early morning; with the locals migrating over
to the party to enjoy the upbeat entertainment. Things
just got louder and crazier as the crowd was treated
to a local South Korean rap duo; as well as the K-Pop
dance group, Karmen, who’ve danced in some of the
biggest K-Pop names’ music videos, culminating with
an even wilder paint party.
“All of the dancing was so much fun, but when it
came to the paint party it was a whole new level”
said Private First Class Juan Giraldo. “The music
32 USAG Red Cloud - Casey and Area I Family and MWR Magazine
FeatureArticle
blasted over the speakers, air cannons going off, with
volunteers throwing buckets of different colored paint
out at the crowd, which everyone enjoyed immensely,
it truly was a sight to see with all of the different
colors flying through the air.” PFC Giraldo pointed out
excitedly.
What better way to end the night, than with a big
bonfire. An area was cleared off with plenty of seating
to dry off from and just enjoy the flames, seemingly
dancing to its own music. Plus, what bonfire wouldn’t
be complete without all the fixins for s’mores? There
was a whole table filled with marshmallows, chocolates
and graham crackers for people to make their own
bonfire baked s’mores. When things finally settled
down for the night it then gave way to Sunday, which
was the dreaded check out day; however, it was a
minor pain to endure since BOSS and VFW did an
absolute stellar job giving service members a weekend
they won’t soon forget-it truly was a blast!
Don’t think this was just a one-time event: this is an
annual trip, and just because you’ve missed out once,
doesn’t mean you won’t get to experience it again.
Plus, BOSS routinely offers new and exciting trips every
year, whether they’re overnight trips or day trips. So,
keep your eyes open and stop by your local CAC
(Community Activity Center) or contact your local BOSS
Rep for the next major BOSS trip!

Since her arrival in November 2013 to the Headquarters
and Headquarter Battalion of the 2nd Infantry Division,
SPC Laura Villegas has volunteered a little over 120 hours
supporting community events here in Area I. Her drive
for volunteering and interest in supporting events for
soldiers within her community is what led her towards the
exceptional Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS)
program, at Camp Red Cloud (CRC BOSS). SPC Villegas’
volunteer support for unit organized events, led to her
designation as the Battle Company BOSS Representative,
and subsequent catapult to becoming CRC BOSS Secretary
in April 2014.
SPC Villegas is not a stranger to volunteering, often
finding time to volunteer during weekends while attending
Advanced Intensive Training at Good Fellow Air Base, in
San Angelo, Texas. During her time in Texas, she devoted
over 80 hours in a local ranch, feeding and providing
hygiene care for the animals and helping improve their living
conditions at the ranch.
SPC Villegas strives to encourage soldiers to be the
“Voice of CRC” by joining BOSS and participating in BOSS
events, as volunteers, representatives and even as a council
member. She continues to volunteer countless hours

to using credit.

and the teen years can be challenging. Discuss issues

what to do with our kids’ behaviors. Learn some positive

Don’t Become
aVictim of
IdentityTheft
The Consumer Federation of America has a new
website designed to help reduce identity theft. ID
Theft Info. org is packed with consumer, business
and victim resources, as well as the latest news and a
section on shopping for identity-theft services.
One section on the website explores how well
you guard your personally identifying information
(PII), even something as simple as your library card.
If you were to lose the card, you might not be too
concerned as it’s not something connected with your
bank account. But if someone checks out and doesn’t
return (in effect, steals) books or videos under your
name, you’re responsible for the monetary damages.
ID Theft Info suggests making a “PII Chart”
to document the identity relations we have with
companies and individuals. Who has our name,
address, phone number and email address? A
security breach in one area can lead to other areas
also being breached, and it need not be associated
only with financial transactions. Homeowner
associations, frequent-flier clubs and churches can all
have pieces of our personal information that can be
put together.
Some suggestions: Use a Post Office box for
miscellaneous mail such as club newsletters and
church bulletins; disable the GPS photo function on
your smartphone; and use only one credit card for
online purchases. Don’t sign up with your real name
on public Internet sites. Work to limit the amount of
information in each section of your PII Chart.
When you go to the doctor and fill out the forms,
leave out your Social Security number. Ask if you can
substitute another form of identification.
Don’t use public charging stations or anyone else’s
computer for your cell phone, and don’t let anyone
else hook their phone to your computer. Data-
stealing malware could be transferred from one to
the other.
Are you a potential victim of identity theft? Assess
your risk with an online test. The higher the score, the
bigger your risk. Big point items (indicating a larger
risk) are questions about whether you’ve ordered
your credit report in the last two years, posted your
outgoing mail at home in an unlocked mailbox or
failed to scrutinize your monthly bank and credit-card
statements.
Look around the ID Theft Info website. The more
you know, the less likely you’ll become a victim of
identity theft.

Buldak is a spicy chicken dish that is becoming very popular amongst the younger generation of Koreans everywhere. Its popularity
has been attributed to both its unique flavors and spiciness. Keep in mind, the term bul means fire in Korean and dak is chicken, so it
can get quite spicy in taste.
Many restaurants that specialize in buldak have been created due to the growing popularity as this dish is considered fairly new.
Also, most restaurants that serve this dish offer various levels of spiciness that one can choose from and there are usually fresh
vegetables served with this dish to blend in the taste. Cubed-cut sweet radishes along with salad and onions are usually popular.
An order of buldak can be served on a platter of bite-sized morsels of chicken breasts or sometimes in combinations of wings
or drumsticks. While the flavor and degree of hotness differs a little from place to place, it is marinated with a hot sweet sauce,
grilled over an open fire, and then served over a sizzling skillet, topped with cheese as well as various herbs. It’s usually enjoyed as an
appetizer while drinking a cold mekju or soju at popular bars or restaurants.

August does not slow down for us. First of all, we welcome our newest FMWR team members—Ms. Eleni Smeltz, our new Area I CYSS Coordinator, who joins us from USAG Japan; Ms Jacqueline Gray as our new Catering Manager, and Brendy Santiago our new Budget Assistant. We are featuring 'Wild Ginseng Hunting' at the Hamyang Festival, "Voice of the Customer" Appreciation Party at Mitchell's Club, hosting the Area I Final Four Basketball Championships, welcoming some of your favorite Wrestlers, (who will be signing autographs at Camp Casey), and we have the following trips: Wolmido Night Cruise Tour and Nami Island Tour. After a short hiatus, the DMZ Tour area has finally opened and FMWR is providing you with 3 opportunities to visit this "must see" destination! Keep in mind, this is simply the 'tip of the iceberg' as it concerns August programming and services; so be sure to peruse the "ITZ Magazine" in its entirety so you don’t miss anything! Last thing, I want to "THANK OUR CUSTOMERS" for voting the Mitchell’s Club as the ‘Best Night Spot’ and Indianhead Golf Course as the ‘Best Golf Course’ in Korea, featured in the Stars & Stripes 'Best-of-Pacific' magazine for 2015.... • 30. Summer has come, the sun is out and the weather is beautiful here in South Korea. That can only mean one thing, it’s time to go to the beach! Wouldn’t you know that BOSS (Better Opportunity for Single Soldiers) was thinking the exact same thing? During this event, BOSS teamed up with Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) to kick-off the 2015 BOSS Beach Blast in Taean City, Chungnam Province located near Area 3. The event was held from June 26th through June 28th, which included service members from all Army installations in South Korea. If you weren’t at this event then you missed out on an amazing trip, not only that but you missed out on a perfect example of what BOSS has to offer for Soldiers stationed in Korea. You might think that your time would be better spent in the barracks or making your way down to the local ville, but that’s where you’re wrong, BOSS is here to help make your tour, as enjoyable as possible; it certainly was on fully display during this three day beach trip! The buses left Area 1 on a Friday morning, and began their trip down south. After about a three hour bus ride with a 30 minute rest stop, we arrived at our destination, and we were quickly welcomed to the Beach Party. Checking in to the event couldn’t have been any easier with BOSS officials making sure everything went quickly and smoothly to make sure everyone gets By: SPC Sean Sweeny BOSS Beach Blast 2015AreaIBOSS:TakingFunExcitementtotheNextLevel 30 USAG Red Cloud - Casey and Area I Family and MWR Magazine FeatureArticle
  • 31. Area I BOSS Presents... settled and begin enjoying the festivities immediately. The rooms gave people a chance to experience Korean culture, as not all beach goers had rooms with beds. Some of the guest had ondols, not beds in the Western sense but rather, thick padded blankets laid out on heated floors. The ondols were definitely a great experience for people to try something new, without it being too adventurous. The party started right away. Even while checking in you could hear the DJ blasting music, and once everyone’s bags were down in their rooms that’s exactly where everyone went; to the beach! The set up was amazing, from the stage to the bar to the volleyball nets, everything looked great, and because everyone was arriving throughout the day, didn’t mean that the others had to wait; the fun had already started. The VFW and BOSS had stage acts lined up all night long, that ranged from a stand-up comedian act all the way to a Latin music group which had the crowd dancing all over the beach. One of the best parts of the trip, was that all of the meals were taken care of by the event organizers. Don’t think that it was just cold cuts and bags of chips that were served, because that wasn’t the case at all. There was a lot of planning that went into every meal to make sure everyone had a chance to be fed well, with all sorts of food selections from fried chicken to slow cooked BBQ ribs, to breakfast sandwiches, not to mention there were second helpings offered to anyone that wanted them. If event goers wanted something else they had a wide variety of stores and restaurants available where they could pick up something. During the morning before the events started, I found some time to take a walk down the beach to see what the whole area was like, and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Yes, there were some areas with large unclimbable rocks, but the beach itself was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and serene. If left to my own devices I could have spent the entire day just sitting on the beach looking out at a small island off the shore. The second day of the event was when things really started to pick up, with a lot of fun activities and prizes to be won by service members. The beach was almost 31IN THE ZONE FeatureArticle
  • 32. BOSS Beach Blast 2015 like a carnival with everything BOSS and VFW put together. There were beach oriented games like the classic water balloon toss, beach volleyball and coconut bowling, where contestants used coconuts to knock down pineapple pins. Then there were other things like Zorb Soccer which were giant bubbles that people got into and played a very high impact, low risk game of soccer, a favorite of many of the event goers. “For me, it was a pretty interesting spin on soccer, but more importantly it was a lot of fun, especially when we went full contact.” Said Specialist Justin Becker with a smile. Then there were some events that were open all day like the harness trampoline which would send you up higher than you would ever expect a carnival type ride to do. Also, there were a few bouncy room-like games, one of which was boxing, and another that simulated surfing, similar to mechanical bull riding. “All of the games and attractions made the event that much better, not to mention being able to share the experiences with soldiers from every area was something special,” said Specialist Mery Gallardo. That feeling was shared by most attendees. All of these games and events were offered during a beautiful and sunny day. Even with all the games there was plenty of time for everyone to enjoy the beach, itself. Many people took this time to soak up the rays and just relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life, which was the whole point of this excursion anyway. Saturday night was not a dull affair. The party went on to the early morning; with the locals migrating over to the party to enjoy the upbeat entertainment. Things just got louder and crazier as the crowd was treated to a local South Korean rap duo; as well as the K-Pop dance group, Karmen, who’ve danced in some of the biggest K-Pop names’ music videos, culminating with an even wilder paint party. “All of the dancing was so much fun, but when it came to the paint party it was a whole new level” said Private First Class Juan Giraldo. “The music 32 USAG Red Cloud - Casey and Area I Family and MWR Magazine FeatureArticle
  • 33. blasted over the speakers, air cannons going off, with volunteers throwing buckets of different colored paint out at the crowd, which everyone enjoyed immensely, it truly was a sight to see with all of the different colors flying through the air.” PFC Giraldo pointed out excitedly. What better way to end the night, than with a big bonfire. An area was cleared off with plenty of seating to dry off from and just enjoy the flames, seemingly dancing to its own music. Plus, what bonfire wouldn’t be complete without all the fixins for s’mores? There was a whole table filled with marshmallows, chocolates and graham crackers for people to make their own bonfire baked s’mores. When things finally settled down for the night it then gave way to Sunday, which was the dreaded check out day; however, it was a minor pain to endure since BOSS and VFW did an absolute stellar job giving service members a weekend they won’t soon forget-it truly was a blast! Don’t think this was just a one-time event: this is an annual trip, and just because you’ve missed out once, doesn’t mean you won’t get to experience it again. Plus, BOSS routinely offers new and exciting trips every year, whether they’re overnight trips or day trips. So, keep your eyes open and stop by your local CAC (Community Activity Center) or contact your local BOSS Rep for the next major BOSS trip! *Don’t miss out on Family MWR Tours and Activities, sign up for the Warrior’s Compass or Family Compass weekly digital subscription! • 48. USAGRedCloud-CaseyandAreaI Since her arrival in November 2013 to the Headquarters and Headquarter Battalion of the 2nd Infantry Division, SPC Laura Villegas has volunteered a little over 120 hours supporting community events here in Area I. Her drive for volunteering and interest in supporting events for soldiers within her community is what led her towards the exceptional Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) program, at Camp Red Cloud (CRC BOSS). SPC Villegas’ volunteer support for unit organized events, led to her designation as the Battle Company BOSS Representative, and subsequent catapult to becoming CRC BOSS Secretary in April 2014. SPC Villegas is not a stranger to volunteering, often finding time to volunteer during weekends while attending Advanced Intensive Training at Good Fellow Air Base, in San Angelo, Texas. During her time in Texas, she devoted over 80 hours in a local ranch, feeding and providing hygiene care for the animals and helping improve their living conditions at the ranch. SPC Villegas strives to encourage soldiers to be the “Voice of CRC” by joining BOSS and participating in BOSS events, as volunteers, representatives and even as a council member. She continues to volunteer countless hours V COMMUNITY OLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT assisting the CRC BOSS President and Vice-President, planning CRC BOSS events and supporting the organization. Additionally, as the unit’s Volunteer Manager, SPC Villegas serves as the Organization’s Point of Contact (OPOC). Under her new role and responsibilities, she assisted other individuals with registration and logging volunteer hours in the Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS), while providing training for other new volunteers in Area I. SPC Villegas selfless service exemplifies the Army Volunteer Corps' “Tradition of Service,” which is invaluable service to our community and to the Total Army Family. For this we are grateful, and say 'Thank you' and congratulations SPC Laura Villegas, for being in the “Community Volunteer Spotlight” for the month of August 2015! SPC LAURA I. • 52. Dollars and $en$e by David Uffington Don’t Become aVictim of IdentityTheft The Consumer Federation of America has a new website designed to help reduce identity theft. ID Theft Info. org is packed with consumer, business and victim resources, as well as the latest news and a section on shopping for identity-theft services. One section on the website explores how well you guard your personally identifying information (PII), even something as simple as your library card. If you were to lose the card, you might not be too concerned as it’s not something connected with your bank account. But if someone checks out and doesn’t return (in effect, steals) books or videos under your name, you’re responsible for the monetary damages. ID Theft Info suggests making a “PII Chart” to document the identity relations we have with companies and individuals. Who has our name, address, phone number and email address? A security breach in one area can lead to other areas also being breached, and it need not be associated only with financial transactions. Homeowner associations, frequent-flier clubs and churches can all have pieces of our personal information that can be put together. Some suggestions: Use a Post Office box for miscellaneous mail such as club newsletters and church bulletins; disable the GPS photo function on your smartphone; and use only one credit card for online purchases. Don’t sign up with your real name on public Internet sites. Work to limit the amount of information in each section of your PII Chart. When you go to the doctor and fill out the forms, leave out your Social Security number. Ask if you can substitute another form of identification. Don’t use public charging stations or anyone else’s computer for your cell phone, and don’t let anyone else hook their phone to your computer. Data- stealing malware could be transferred from one to the other. Are you a potential victim of identity theft? Assess your risk with an online test. The higher the score, the bigger your risk. Big point items (indicating a larger risk) are questions about whether you’ve ordered your credit report in the last two years, posted your outgoing mail at home in an unlocked mailbox or failed to scrutinize your monthly bank and credit-card statements. Look around the ID Theft Info website. The more you know, the less likely you’ll become a victim of identity theft. 52 USAG Red Cloud - Casey and Area I Family and MWR Magazine

  • 59. Buldak is a spicy chicken dish that is becoming very popular amongst the younger generation of Koreans everywhere. Its popularity has been attributed to both its unique flavors and spiciness. Keep in mind, the term bul means fire in Korean and dak is chicken, so it can get quite spicy in taste. Many restaurants that specialize in buldak have been created due to the growing popularity as this dish is considered fairly new. Also, most restaurants that serve this dish offer various levels of spiciness that one can choose from and there are usually fresh vegetables served with this dish to blend in the taste. Cubed-cut sweet radishes along with salad and onions are usually popular. An order of buldak can be served on a platter of bite-sized morsels of chicken breasts or sometimes in combinations of wings or drumsticks. While the flavor and degree of hotness differs a little from place to place, it is marinated with a hot sweet sauce, grilled over an open fire, and then served over a sizzling skillet, topped with cheese as well as various herbs. It’s usually enjoyed as an appetizer while drinking a cold mekju or soju at popular bars or restaurants. Bul-dak불닭 1. Rinse chicken drum sticks in cold water and de-done meat with a sharp knife.
