Namisum Island is an oasis for culture and leisure, a tiny half-moon shaped
island located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, located approximately
60 km east of Seoul. This island is described as a place of peaceful
harmony with humanity and nature, featuring a bike center, an electric car
tour and a swimming pool. Enjoy ferry rides that meet a forest of verdant
trees and open grassy areas where ostriches, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks
and peacocks welcome visitors.
ELIGIBILITY: Single and unaccompanied soldiers/KATUSA Soldiers in Area I.
