Hello USAG Red Cloud and Area I
Community Members!
Can you believe it we are nearing the end
of the year already; time flew by so fast, and
soon it will be Christmas and then New Years
Eve! It’s a very special time of the year to
spend with family and friends.
Unfortunately, this may not be the case
with some of our Area I members. As much
as it is a glorious time of the year, this season
can be a very difficult time for many of our
unaccompanied Soldiers and Families far from home. Please be vigilant
and watch for lonely and/or depressed symptoms, and reach out to your
Battle Buddies; invite them into your home or get them involved in Unit
or FMWR activities at the clubs, bowling centers, CACs or ACS. The Army
is one big family and we need to take care of our own, so open your
hearts and homes to your extended family here in Area I.
Ft Riley hosts a monthly Network Meeting at Riley’s Conference Center to share information about local agencies on and off post that have events, functions, and information. The next Network meeting is Sept 27th at 1030- Free childcare with RSVP and this is open to everyone! Please take a moment to look thru the slides and also note that the majority of these are also listed in the monthly albums on our FB!
