1. Entering
the
Room
Make
sure
you
select
Enter
with
your
login
and
password
and
then
use
first.last@umb.edu
and
the
appropriate
password.
Note
that
this
is
NOT
necessarily
the
same
password
as
your
UMB
account
(though
you
can
set
it
to
the
same
to
start
with
so
it
is
easy
to
remember).
If
you
enter
as
Guest
(as
all
students
do),
you
will
NOT
have
host
rights
to
the
room,
only
participant
(student)
rights.
2. Audio
Wizard
To
check
your
speaker
and
mic
settings,
in
the
upper
left
corner,
select
Meeting
then
select
Audio
Setup
Wizard.
You
may
need
to
try
several
different
mic
settings
before
you
hear
yourself.
It
is
a
good
idea
to
set
background
noise
level
so
the
mic
is
not
too
sensitive.
3. Changing
student
permissions
To
give
a
student
presentation
rights,
hover
over
the
student
name
and
select
Make
Presenter,
or
just
drag
and
drop
them
to
the
Presenter
section
of
the
attendee
list.
4. Checking
Students
In
Ensure
they
click
their
mic
icon
to
activate
it
(should
be
green
not
white).
Then
have
them
say
hello.
Then
put
up
a
green
check
by
selecting
arrow
next
to
hand
raise
icon,
and
select
2nd
option
(check/agree).
Make
sure
they
mute
themselves
when
not
speaking
by
clicking
on
the
mic
icon
(it
will
then
have
a
slash
through
it).
