Google Apps for Nonprofits provides free access to Gmail, Drive, and other Google services for registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the US. To sign up, nonprofits submit their 9-digit Employee ID Number for verification of nonprofit status. Existing Google Apps users who are nonprofits can request an upgrade. Gmail provides 7GB storage, no ads, security features like encryption, and mobile access at no cost other than staff labor for implementation. Additional Google services like Sites, Analytics, and grants are available to help nonprofits with communications, analysis, and funding.
