Christmas is a Christian holiday representing the birth of Jesus Christ,
following the pagan celebrations of the winter solstice. We have
Christmas holiday for 14 days. Christmas is associated with a number of
traditions such as a carol, a Christmas tree, Christmas gifts, which
according to Czech tradition are carried by the baby Jesus or Christmas
sweets. In the 20th and 21st centuries, Christmas in many countries is
understood primarily as a holiday of peace, family and love, and people
celebrate it in families.
