2. Planned Procedure
 6 cooperating schools
 One project week (4 working days, 2 travel days) should
take place in each country!
 Each cooperation school sends 5 students + 2 teachers
per project week.

 Monday:
 Arrival: German students welcome the international groups at
the airport and accompany them to our school in
Gelsenkirchen
 Welcoming at the school,“welcoming lunch“ and guided tour
of school.
 Greeting of school principal
 Students visit host families
 Dinner at the principal‘s for teaching staff

4. Possible program for the "Europe Week at
BKaG“ (II)
 Tuesday:
 Morning: Project day at school (project - WeGoGreen –
plus building an insect hotel).
 Afternoon: Mayor's reception at Hans-Sachs-Haus plus
city tour of Gelsenkirchen
 Evening: international volleyball tournament / sports event

5. Possible program for the "Europe Week at
BKaG“ (III)
 Wednesday:
 Internship day: Students visit a training company of our
school for one day.
 What does the company do for our project?
 Students take photos or do an interview and present it
on Thursday!
 Common evening at MANUS, dinner included

6. Possible program for the "Europe Week at
BKaG“ (IV)
 Thursday:
 Class attendance + presentations about the results from
the internship companies.
 Free afternoon/evening for the students with their
exchange students. Teachers visit the coal mining
museum in Bochum.

7. Possible program for the "Europe Week at
BKaG“ (V)
 Friday:
 Joint visit to theVeltins Arena / training with our cooperation
partner FC Schalke 04.
 Lunch at school
 Visiting the Zoom adventure world

8. Possible program for the "Europe Week at
BKaG“ (VI)
 Saturday:
 Departure / Individual transport to the airport!
 If necessary: sightseeing of Düsseldorf or Cologne
