  2. 2. We put glassballs, lights andtinsel on Christmas tree. A staris usually on the top.
  3. 3. Before dinner we share the wafer. It is madefrom flour and water and looks like Hostia inthe church. We give each other a piece of thisand say best wishes.
  4. 4. For the dinner on December the24th no meat is served. We eatfish, cabbage, mushrooms,beetroot or fish soup, gingercookies and poppy-seed cake.There should be 12 dishes alltogether.
  5. 5. We always leave one free place and one platefor someone ( the traveller) who can come thisnight.
  6. 6. Santa Claus leaves presents under theChristmas tree. In Polish he is called SwietyMikolaj ( Saint Nicolas) or in our region only –Gwiazdor( The Man of Star).
  7. 7. Nativity Play is a performance presenting astory of the Jesus’ birth in Bethleem. Weprepare this every year.
