3. The Birth Of William:
William was born at St Mary’s Hospital on 21st
June 1982 and was christened at Buckingham
Palace.
When his mother died in 1997 in Paris after a car
accident he went to his mother’s funeral and
walked behind the cortege. He was followed by
his brother Harry and his father Prince Charles.
He went to Eton in 2001 and afterwards he went
on a Gap year in Africa and Asia.
He met his girlfriend Kate Middleton at University
while he was studying for Geography and Art. He
was a good Polo Player at University and went
back in 2011 to celebrate the 600th
anniversary
of St Andrew’s University in Scotland.
When Did William Meet Katie
William met Katie Middleton at St Andrew’s
University in Scotland. They became mates and
studied for three years. They went out from
2002-2007 and they broke up after the Diana
Concert in

4. After the split up in 2007 after the Diana Concert
Katie and William went back to their University at
St Andrew’s In Scotland and then William applied
to become a Air Ambulance team.
In late 2010 William and Katie announced that
they were going to get married on 29th
April
2011 at Westminster Abbey. William gave his
mum’s sapphire ring and took Katie on a holiday
to propose to her.
The Day of The Wedding:
On 29th
April 2011 the world watched as
Katherine Middleton and Prince William married.
All the royal family came out and watched live
from Westminster Abbey. They were joined by
the Middleton’s as Katie and William were
married.
5. The Best Man for the Service was Prince Harry-
William’s Brother. After the service the newly
wedded married couple came out in a royal
carriage.
After the carriage the couple and the Royal
Family stood on the Balcony as several planes
flew past overlooking Buckingham Palace.
After the wedding William went back to his
helicopter life and Katherine became a normal
woman. After a couple of weeks they went on a
honeymoon to Hollywood
