2. Welcome Page
Welcome to this amazing new presentation about the west
end and some of it amazing productions that are on offer in
London.
I will also be looking at Lord Andrew Llyord Webber who
has written thousands of musicals and also has papered on
television shows. I hope you enjoy this and find some useful
information about all the shows in London.
3. Mamma Mia
Mamma Mia is based upon ABBA amazing songs and a storyline
that is about two guys trying to marry Sophie. The songs capture the
audenice and bring them happiness and joy.
My favourite moments of Mamma mia was when Sophie doesn’t
marry Sky but her mum decides to marry Harry. This is a brilliant
scene to watch and to listen to. I enjoyed the musicial and would see
it again.
4. War Horse
War Horse is about a boy who wants to have a horse that
can lead him to war. Joey is the horse and the boy is only
14. He can’t go to war until the age of 18 so he decides to
ride the horse before selling it to the army.
It is quiet sad and tearful on stage but it still amazing and
fantastic to see if you are going to the West End in London.
5. Les the madness of the French Revolution.
Miserables
Les Miserables is set during
It is captured on stage by an award winning actors and actrees who
try and play what the roles of the French Revolution would have
been liked.
The musicial has been running for 25 amazing years by Cameron
Mackintosh who decided to write a musicial based upon the
storyline of the French Revolution which has made many people go
away and think about the musicial and what would happened during
that period.
6. Cameron Mackintosh
Cameron Mackintosh grew up in London. In 1985, a new musicial
was announced and he decided to call it Les Miserables. He studied
the book and try to copy the storyline and what to act and how he
want people to react to the musicial. 25 amazing years later, the
musicial is still growing strong and popular to many people in the
West End of London.
He has also written a new version of Oliver which starred Jodie
Prenger who won the television programme I’D Do Anything and
appered for 3 weeks on stage.
7. Andrew Lloyd Webber
Andrew has written many different musicials in the west end. He has
written Joseph, The Sound Of Music, Oliver and many different
musicals.
He is one of my favourite because he has a passion about music
and what he wants different people to do about finding music. He
has had 40 years in the business.
In 2009, Andrew decided that he needed a new original act to go to
Moscow to sing for Eurovision. He asked Jade Ewen to sing My
Time which scored 5th place with 173 points.
