Diana Spencer was born in 1961 in England and became Lady Diana Spencer in 1975. She dreamed of being a ballerina as a child. Diana worked with children and became a kindergarten teacher. She was acquainted with the British royal family from a young age. In 1977, she became reacquainted with Prince Charles and they married in 1981. Diana and Charles had two sons, Prince William in 1982 and Prince Harry in 1984. Diana was a strong supporter of charities helping the homeless, those with HIV/AIDS, and children in need.
