4. Check- in Check-in is the first part of the day. We open with prayer and a daily meditation reading. We follow it with processing for approximately 30 minutes. It is a time for students to get anything off of their chest that would interfere with them having a successful school day.
5. Drug Testing To ensure that we maintain a safe and sober environment, Archway performs frequent and random drug tests. This is one way to hold them accountable.
6. Southwest Schools Archway is proud to have our curriculum and teachers provided to us through Southwest Schools. Southwest Schools, a State Charter School governed by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), is proud to be considered a school of excellence for diverse learners. Southwest Schools is funded through state and federal programs, and operates from the tenets of Professional Learning Communities.

8. Palmer Church Palmer Church has been gracious enough to give Archway the space to house our school. They give Archway the space free of charge which allows them to keep program fees low.
9. Scholarships Archway never wants money to be a reason that they do not come to their school. They offer scholarships on an as needed basis. Over half of the student population is on some sort of scholarship
10. Volunteer Work Students are encouraged to participate in volunteer work. Every Wednesday and Thursday students are provided an oppurtunity to volunteer for the first hour of school at The Way Station. The Way Station is a ministry that serves the needs of nearly 300 homeless people every morning. It takes place in the courtyard of Palmer Church
