Technology Action Research Project Overview
Project Assignment Outline -- see the course calendar for due dates

√ Choose a technology research option from the list OR propose your own topic and have Suzie and Tod approve it.

2.

√ Research academic scholarship to find information about pedagogical value of this technology (or similar technologies).

3.

THIS WEEK Research educator’s blogs and resources to learn about best practices for integrating this form of technology.

4.

THIS WEEK Draft a plan for using the technology in your school, classroom, or in another educational community.

5.

WEEK OF 2/10 Create a handout for students (or your audience) that describes how to use use the technology to create the desired
product or process.

6.

WEEK OF 2/17 Create a screencast video tutorial that demonstrates to your students (or audience) how to use the technology to
create the desired product or process.

7.

WEEK OF 2/24 Compile all of the above plus outline your implementation plan and turn in your project draft at the end of the term.

8.

During the 8 weeks between our last class meeting and our final class session, try out our plan in your classroom, school, or other

THIS WEEK Draft a plan for using the technology in your school, classroom, or in another educational community. 5. WEEK OF 2/10 Create a handout for students (or your audience) that describes how to use use the technology to create the desired product or process. 6. WEEK OF 2/17 Create a screencast video tutorial that demonstrates to your students (or audience) how to use the technology to create the desired product or process. 7.
