• If a mainstream film company distributed our
film it would be better because it means there
would be a larger international audience and
there would be more exhibitors because they
have more money available.
• They would also be able to use bigger budget
adverts.

• However there are problems with using a
mainstream company because you loose all
the rights to your film.
• There is also a less personal working
relationship.

4. Independent
• This would be a good film distributor to use
because they will know more about appealing
to a niche audience.
• An independent film company such as warp
would also be more personal and would know
how to exhibit it best as they know the best
ways of advertising local films.

5. Independent
• But it is sometimes not the best idea to use as
while companies like safehouse uk are good
for knowing the local audience they are held
back by not having much money to be able to
exhibit the film the same as a mainstream
film.
