the Design review for the tender Structural Drawings and Ensuring its adequacy
, Preparing VALUE ENGINEERING studies , Introducing and adequate a cheaper
and a time shorten alternative solutions among the different structural
systems, Cost analysis, quantity surveying, cash flow forecasting ,planning and
scheduling, preparing and Reviewing project's contract as well as leading a
team of draftsmen and quantity surveyors to ensure the time and quality

Project 01: Centro Hotel By Rotana-Riyadh-KSA Value SAR 16 Millions(Skeleton
work only).
the project was 150 bed room hotel consisted of mini tower of 10 floors built over two
basements with a total built up area of 14250 square meters.
As a structural and a technical project's engineer based on the site I was responsible for
Reviewing the tender Package structural Drawings which was totally un coordinated and un
adequate, so I started preparing a new set of structural design coordinated and adequate
drawings including structural calculations and models, submitting them for approval,
following up with the project consultant (EHAF ) for approving the updated set of drawings
for construction then starting over preparing a full set of shop drawings for all the hotel
structural elements.
Hereinafter listed some of the major issues that I overcame while preparing the restudy:
- We faced a huge underestimating material costs , so I bearded this into my mind while
updating the structural drawings through proposing a post tension slab system for the
project instead of the traditional RC slab as well as customizing the number of columns and
reducing the shear walls and cores quantity so we manage to reduce the losses and the
time needed for construction.
- We faced an Unstable Building as per the tender drawings the was a planted columns -
to resist the loads from 10 upcoming floors - on the ground floor slab without a suitable
precautions for such case , so I manage to overcame the problem by increasing some of the
basement's columns , implementing a new beam elements under the planted columns
bearing to mind the not to increase the cost.
Project 02: Al Nabet Commercial and Residential project-Khamis mushait-Abha-
KSA Value SAR 20 Millions (skeleton work only ).
the project was consisting of two parts one of them was commercial building of 5 floors
built over one basements with a total built up area of 14000 square meters and another
residential building of 4 building with a total built up area of 4000 square meter .
Since the handing over of Centro Hotel project I was Promoted to become a senior
structural and Cost Estimate Engineer based on the company headquarter and I started my
new position with the above mentioned project , here in after what I had accomplished for
the project:
- Preparing the BOQ sine there was only drawings provided by the owner.
- establishing a cost break down structure.
- obtaining Quotations for materials and labors .
- Preparing the forecasted indirect cost for the project.
- Reviewing the Contact Conditions and Its financial terms .
- discussing the margins with the management.
- Finalizing the selling Prices.
- preparing the offer letter based on our stipulations.
- Negotiating with the owner till we won the tender and signed the contract.
Project 03: Wyndham Garden Hotel-Riyadh-KSA Value SAR 135 Millions (a
turnkey project ).
the project was 260 bed rooms Hotel consisted of mini tower of 8 floors built over two
basements with a total built up area of 36000 square meters .
As a senior Structural design and a cost estimate Engineer I was responsible for hereinafter
listed:
- checking over the BOQ sine the project was a lump sum contract.
- establishing a cost break down structure.
- obtaining Quotations for materials and labors .
- coordinating all the project's disciplines Costs.
- Preparing the forecasted indirect cost for the project.
- Reviewing the Contact Conditions and Its financial terms .
- discussing the margins with the management.
- Finalizing the selling Prices.
- preparing the offer letter based on our stipulations.
- Negotiating with the owner.
- Suggesting alternative cost efficiency solution to meet the client budget.

Project 04: Makarm arriyadh Hotel-Riyadh-KSA Value SAR 75 Millions (a
turnkey project ).
the project was 200 bed rooms Hotel consisted of mini tower of 10 floors built over two
basements with a total built up area of 18000 square meters .
As a senior Structural design and a cost estimate Engineer I was responsible for hereinafter
listed:
- checking over the BOQ sine the project was a lump sum contract.
- establishing a cost break down structure.
- obtaining Quotations for materials and labors .

1. Al Thaghar Plaza in Riyadh - KSA
that project was a shopping mall project , it contained a huge retails , coffee shops and restaurants , the
project was built over 64000 square meter plot area, and it was containing steel structure buildings and
concrete structure buildings.
2. Al Ghamdy warehouses in Riyadh - KSA
the project was built over 22400 square meter plot area, and it was containing steel structure buildings
and concrete structure buildings.
3. Al Nafl Residential Complex in Riyadh - KSA
the project was consist of 40 duplex villas beside a recreation area and facilities , and it was built over one
basement. the plot area for the project was 13800 M2 and a total built up area of 23000 square meters .
4. Al Moroj Residential Complex in Riyadh - KSA
the project was consist of 14 duplex villas, 5 residential buildings of 4 floors each, beside a recreation area
and facilities , and it was built over one basement. the plot area for the project was 9350 M2 and a total
built up area of 30000 square meters.
5. Al Taawoon Residential Complex in Riyadh - KSA
the project was consist of 10 duplex villas, 6 residential buildings of 4 floors each, beside a recreation area
and facilities , and it was built over one basement. the plot area for the project was 12941 M2 and a total
built up area of 35000 square meters.
6. Almousa Mousque.
the project was consist of men's Prayer area , Women's Prayer area, a school for QURAAN and two
minarets of 48.0 m length besides two villas for the Imam and the Mo'zan , and it was built over one
basement. the plot area for the project was 4680 M2
7. Al Saedan Duples Villa
the project was consist of two duplex villas and it was built over one basement. the plot area for the
project was 900 M2 and a total built up area of 2200 square meters.
8. Al Safwa Rest House(Steel structure ).
the project was consist of a public figures and prestigious rest house belongs to Sheikh Ibrahim Al saedan
and it was built over one basement. the plot area for the project was 2500 M2 and a total built up area of
3500 square meters worth to be mentioned that the project were a steel structure building.
9. Al Salman Duplex Villa
the project was consist of four duplex villas and it was built over one basement. the plot area for the
project was 1200 M2 and a total built up area of 2000 square meters.
10. Al Solimania Restaurants Complex.
the project was consist of seven restaurants of 2 floors each and it was built over one basement. the plot
area for the project was 5750 M2 and a total built up area of 9000 square meters.
11. Al Rihab Strip Mall and office building.
the project was consist of a one floor office building built over a ground floor strip mall and it was built,
the plot area for the project was 10000 M2 and a total built up area of 7000 square meters.
12. Khaled Alsalman Mosque.
the project was consist of men's Prayer area , Women's Prayer area, and one minarets of 25.0 m length,
and it was built over one basement. the plot area for the project was 2380 M2
13.Mohammad Al Saedan Rest House.
the project was consist of a prestigious 2 floors rest house and it was built over one basement. the plot
area for the project was 1645 M2 and a total built up area of 2000 square meters .
14. Olaya Duplex Villa.
the project was consist of four duplex villas and it was built over one basement. the plot area for the
project was 875 M2 and a total built up area of 1800 square meters.
15. Al Nagashy Rest House.
the project was a prestigious rest house, the plot area for the project was 2000 M2 and a total built up
area of 800 square meters worth to be mentioned that the project were a steel structure building.
16. Al Salman Rest House.
the project was a prestigious rest house, the plot area for the project was 1500 M2 and a total built up
area of 600 square meters worth to be mentioned that the project were a steel structure building.

the project was a prestigious Duplex Villa built over a basement , the plot area for the project was 1650 M2
and a total built up area of 2000 square .

zone B2 within the group 24, my role as a Site Engineer to be Responsible for following up all construction activities
including but not limited to following up the subcontractors to ensure the quality and time efficiency, preparing IR

construction manager.
