● 260+ registrations
● 89% from Australia (11% OS)
● 64% Male, 34% Female
● 42% Developers
● 15% Business Owners
● 10% Designers
● 9% Consultants

6. WordCamp Sydney 2018 - Gutenberg
Keynote speech - Gutenberg:
● New WordPress editor - currently beta (live with WordPress 5)
● Using “blocks”, the “entire editing experience has been rebuilt for media rich
pages and posts.”
● Aimed at Sqaurespace and Wix (Joomla not mentioned all weekend)
● Option to continue with Classic Editor (plug-in)
● Page builders are “addressing” Gutenberg:
