Healthy and Unhealthy Options for the School Tuck Shop

2. ANY FOOD CHANGES? In my personal opinion, I think that there should be no changes to the food at the Tuck Shop although some foods could be added with restrictions. Foods like wedges and pies have lots of saturated fat which is not good for you although that does not mean you shouldn’t have it once in a while. Having unhealthy tuck shop food is not bad if you have it on an irregular basis. When having it, it is also good to have a small portion of it and not a lot, as that would not be good for your short and long term health.
3. FOODS NEW AND Drinks A healthy and delicious way of eating is having fruit salad made from fresh tropical or ordinary fruits. Selling this will satisfy hungry customers while also giving them a healthy snack to munch on at lunch. What is even better, is that the materials used to hold the fruit salad could be recyclable, keeping our in environment clean. A drink that could be sold is frothy fruit smoothies. These would be a huge opportunity to gain money in Term 1 and 4 on the hottest of days. Like the fruit salad, it would be tasty and money well spent
