your main product and ancillary
texts?

2. Research
• For the research of my music video and
ancillary tasks, I looked at a range of
examples, relating to the pop genre. I analyzed
the different conventions of music videos and
how the artist is portrayed. I interpreted these
into my main product and ancillary texts.
3. DigiPak
• For my digipak, I wanted it to fit in with my
main task so I used a picture from my shoot
for the front cover and used other pictures
relating to the video for the other sides.
Because it is a pop genre, I interpreted some
bold patterns into my digipak to make it stand
out, like most music videos. I kept the colour
scheme red to fit in with the theme of love.

6. Advert
• I still kept this in the same style as my music
video and my digipak. The point of an advert
is to promote the artist, the digipak and the
music video. That’s why I made it black and
put the pictures on top to make it really stand
out and eye catching. It still fits with the pop
genre.
