2. What are YouTube cards?
• YouTube cards are the interactive cards you see in YouTube
videos (usually at the end) that let creators share clickable links
to relevant content throughout a video.
• To do this, you have to Associate Your Website (so that you
can’t just link out to any website… only to websites you own)
• You can add up to five cards to each video and you can use
cards in any video .
3. Why YouTube cards?
• Promote a related video content
• Promote your YouTube channel
• Sponsored cards
• Direct people to a verified off-site location like a specific landing
page(associated website linking)
• Ask viewers to donate to a US-based charity (only US-based creators
can do this at the moment)
4.
5. Sponsored YouTube cards
• Sponsored cards display content that may be relevant to your
video, such as products featured/used in the video.
• Viewers will see a teaser for the card for a few seconds. They
can also click the icon in the top right corner of the video to
browse the cards.
• YouTube will automatically enable sponsored cards on all your
monetized videos. So once advertisers start to promote their
products via sponsored cards, you’ll start earning ad income.
7. Why associated website linking?
• Associated Website can enhance your website marketing by
adding a link to your website.

your youtube channel when relevent keyword is searched by
the customer.
